Thoughts

=> Samson:

Vin is Samson's logical and tactical style of thinking and acting. Samson isn't just a cold, unfeeling robot, he's more like Vincent, still a biological being, but a hybrid of sorts, capable of highly logical thinking and problem solving, while still being burdened by emotions.

Vin is a character created by Sam.

=> Samuel

Vincent is Samuel's intelligent intuition and enjoyment of video games. Samuel enjoys playing video games with friends, but finds sometimes is just too good at them to the point he drives away his friends from the distance in skill levels. The games Samuel is particularly good at are ones that are tactical and require quick thinking, and tactical precision.

Vin is a character created by Sam.

On Striker:

"A quieter being. He doesn't seem very sociable. He typically is around the edges of the group and often just disappears without anyone even noticing. There's something about him that's interesting to me. Maybe it's finding his situation a particularly sad one, as I myself am something of a loner from where I've come from, but I've found myself fitting in, yet he's not as keen on doing the same."

On Interactions with Striker:

"He doesn't seem to make it obvious that he occasionally seeks me out in private settings, with the others, but he does. He seems to have some interest in the games I play. I, of course let him play, and sometimes even go easy on him, haha. He hasn't seemed to let anyone else know about his interest in spending time with me, and I'll keep that a secret for him if he desires."

On Striker's Fur:

"His fur? You know, that is something I have taken notice of. His fur is quite, uh.. 'extravagant.' I've asked him about it before, and he's given me bits and pieces of details. He seems to take really good care of his hygiene. He gets angry if I try to touch it though. I can respect it. Being dirty is quite the hassle and if I took that much care of my fur, I'd probably not want it being screwed up either."

On Striker's powers:

"I don't really know much about them. At most I've heard it's like some sort of curse or something? He has a very unique energy signature for certain, but I don't really have any data on what it actually is. It's not something I've ever encountered before. He also is very guarded about talking about his powers, so I can't really gather any information that way."

On Will:

"Will is a surprising entity. He's like a database of musical information. It's quite rare to find beings who have the capacity for that much information. Music is quite the intriguing phenomenon and I've come to discover there are various instances of music that I'm quite partial to. Will is a great companion that I am fortunate to have."

On Information Exchange:

"Will is a great entity for me to go to for musical knowledge. I find the phenomenon of music to be very interesting and being guided by Will is nice. I am fond of being fair and with all the info Will has been so freely giving me, I have been offering to answer any questions about things he might be curious about. He asks me questions about Zemorytals and my cybernetics, and in all honesty, it's nice to have someone to chat with about those things."

On Spending time with Will:

"This is something of a continuation of the last topic, but I have some technological incongruencies with my biological systems. The result is something akin to insomnia, so there are often evenings when I am unable to properly recharge, so I seek out Will. He's kind enough to spend those evenings with me. He tells me he appreciates being able to give me company when I'm having these issues. I'm thankful because those evenings of technical difficulties can be quite boring when I'm on my own."

On Will's reputation:

"As something of a second generation member to our little group here, I'm not the freshest member, but I'm not an original either. From my time here I get the sense that Will is pretty close to most of us here, including one's who have joined us fairly recently. I try to not take up too much of his time during the day. I'm also aware he needs to sleep too, so I don't always go find him during my times of technical difficulties, but it's something I'm glad he's always willing to have me for company when I don't want to spend a sleepless evening alone."

On Kenny:

"He's the youngest of the group and one of the most sociable. I was surprised when I entered the group because of his demeanor. He was one of the first that openly made me feel welcomed. He treated me like anyone else with his kindness and I'm very thankful for that. We get along well but I don't think I'm his favorite. Of course, nothing wrong with that"

On video games:

"Kenny is another member who enjoys playing some of the video games that I like to play. He seems to not really care about losing as long as it's not being utterly squashed, so I'm careful to not do that too much, hehe. I sometimes try to get others to play too so that I can involve a little more chaos instead of being focused on the destruction of a singular target. Unfortunately, the reaction of most others is indifference, to impatience, to contempt for video games, so involving others doesn't last long. I wish I could get Striker to play during those moments, but he's pretty resistant to ever touching the controllers during those times."

On Kenny's kind of entertainment:

"Kenny is very much an outdoorsy fellow. All the power to him, but I'm not a huge fan of playing around in the outdoors. Of course, I'll still humor him on occasion, but I end up getting fairly dirty and it's quite the hassle to clean myself and my technological components. Thankfully Zemorytal tech is extremely durable, and I'll likely never need to replace any of it from wear or damage, but cleaning it is very annoying to do."

On Kenny's intelligence:

"I'm not saying he's stupid. Far from it actually. He can be quite smart and intuitive. The issue resides in what things his intelligence is in. I am very intelligent with technology, tactical and logical things. Kenny is much more of a, what is it even called around here.. 'streets smart' hyena? He doesn't seem too interested in sharing knowledge and learning from one another, and that's a little unfortunate. I understand not everyone seeks the same kind of learning and knowledge, but I wish we got along a little better that way. Outside of my games, he doesn't really find much interest in the things I take interest in."

On Ernest:

"Ernest. The sibling of Kenny. On one hand. It's extremely obvious. The elder hyena, who's energy is only matched by that of his brother. They are both chaotic and playfully crazy creatures. It can be a little overwhelming at times, but I find it endearing at the same time. Ernest is yet the opposite of his brother, his focus is on the engineering and mathematics of things, something that coalesces well with my interests even though the realms of technology are pretty different."

On Ernest's interests:

"Ernest is something of a builder. He likes to design things and create those things. Whether those things he makes are with the intent of creating something more, or simply something destructive. He is a creator and is very passionate about the things he makes. We get along very well and work together on projects often. Typically he has something he is working on, and I can offer various insights and skills towards those projects, and he values my inputs. Sometimes his interests extend to me and my technology, but he seems to be respectful of me as an equal and not a lesser being like some biologicals do to Zemorytals, so I'll gladly take part in an exchange of knowledge with him."

On Ernest's study of Zemorytal tech:

"Most zemorytal's probably wouldn't let most beings examine their tech, let alone a non-Zemory citizen, but frankly, I don't really care. Ernest has a high interest in the tech on my body and I willingly let him have some components to look at and analyze. Granted I won't take off my mask, that's something of a cultural dignity I won't give up. I've told him of my technical difficulties with my tech integration that started occurring as of late, and he's been working with me to try and identify the solution and create a solution for it."

On Ernest's energy:

"It's almost scary how hyper-focused on something Ernest can get. His energy level is always at max. From the times he's simply spending time with his colleagues to the times he's silently working on a project, he's always exuding his chaotic energy. I'm shocked at how crazy he and his colleagues get. I'm equally surprised at how passionately excited he gets when he makes progress on a project, or how angered he can get when he gets tripped up by a tricky situation. I always do my best to help him, and if the problem gets solved, he flips back to his ecstatic excitement at the problem being solved."

Bio:

Vincent is a unique species of cybernetic canids that come from the planet Zemory (zeh · more · ee). This species relies on cybernetics to counterbalance the weaker aspects of their biology. The species were plagued with degenerative genetics and overtime evolved, making use of technology to counteract the effect. Zemorytals are born as fully biological beings, but without the assistance of Zemorytal technology, wouldn't live very long. Vin is a Zemorytal who left his planet and found himself with a group he considers close friends.

Auto-Bio:

"My name is Vincent, but I go by Vin for short. I'm a Zemorytal, but I don't let that be an obstacle to meeting new people. It was a little.. difficult.. fitting in, but I've found myself accepted here with my friends, and I'm very thankful for that. I've come across many interesting things during my time away from Zemory. There are many interesting forms of entertainment, and I find myself quite adept at playing various video games."

On Zemorytals:

"That's an interesting topic of discussion. Of course there is a unique culture from Zemory, and I still follow it, but I also don't fully agree with how things are run there. I find myself a bit more appreciative of the freedom I have going out on my own, instead of directly taking part in the culture there. Zemorytals depend on their technology to combat their inherent degenerative genetics, but they've also taken it to heart in a more aesthetic way too. There is a lot of emphasis on the customization and diversity of the technology. Some zemorytals willingly replace other extremities with technological parts for the sake of having more technology to match the aesthetic. Personally, I am fine with just having the basics, and some basic plating. Nothing wrong with more diverse customization, it just isn't really for me."

On Gaming Interests:

"I find myself particularly fond of playing Nintendo games. I enjoy games like Smash Brothers, The Splatoon series, and the Pokemon series. I've spent many more hours playing those games than I'd like to admit in all honesty. I don't even interface directly with the system to play the games through my own tech interfaces. I play just like any other person, holding a controller in my paws. The others like to accuse me of cheating, but it's just how many hours I've invested in the games, haha."

On Kalamity:

"The eastern dragon 'Kalamity.' He's something of a mystery. He rarely speaks, and when he does it's either rudimentary English he's slowly been learning or something in his native language. Unfortunately I don't recognize the dialect. I have a large library of dialects to translate from, but whatever it is he's speaking I don't recognize. This leaves his past to be something of a larger mystery too. He seems quite fond of Striker."

On Kal's powers:

"That's probably the first thing I recognized from him. I had become attuned to sensing Striker's powers, so it was quite an odd instance when I sensed a second signature of similar energy. Striker seems to be able to mask his own energy signature of his powers pretty decently, but with time I've been able to detect it regardless. Kal, as everyone else has elected to call him, on the other hand doesn't seem to have that capability currently. Whenever he's nearby I can detect his powers immediately. It's a little worrisome, but Striker reassures everyone that he'll be fine, so I guess I'll trust him, though I'm still on guard, even though Kal seems to try and express good intentions every now and then too."

On Kal's demeanor:

"He seems to be something of a protector of us wherever we are. It's a little odd to me whenever he comes close. He gives me odd looks, but it's probably because he's never seen a Zemorytal before. He seems to express curiosity towards me every now and then. I don't actively push him away, but I still generally keep on guard. Until he can communicate a little more effectively, and I know he won't try anything odd, I'm fine with not being too close to him."

On Kal's relationship to Striker:

"Now that's something I've observed to be interesting. I'm much more trusting of Striker, so the times I'm more willing to be in Kal's presence is when Striker is around. Unfortunately I think that Striker is more fond of spending time with me in privacy, so whenever we're together he doesn't often bring Kal along. Kal seems to be very gentle and almost.. look up to Striker, so I'd guess keeping him around is done with positive intentions, but I can't help but be a little skeptical of Kal's thoughts of me as a Zemorytal."

On Luke:

"The most recent member that appeared. He is very enigmatic. He has some sort of energy within him that he's masking. I'm generally unsure of what to think about him. Striker seems very untrusting of him, but Will seems like he's trying to spend time with him to get to know him."

On Luke's 'knowledge':

"Luke says he is a carrier of stories from another universe. I ask him to elaborate and he says that those stories are beyond comprehension of this realm. He doesn't seem to know much about me, but he seem to have an almost impossible knowledge of others here. I'm leaning towards the idea that he is just making use of some sort of tricks."

On Luke's masked energy:

"I've asked Luke about what he's hiding. He tried to act innocent and confused, but I dug a little deeper, asking about the energy he was trying to keep hidden. His response was an odd one. he said, 'Is it that obvious?' When I gave a sort of confused reaction, he shook his head and refused to elaborate further. He said maybe later in the future he'd be more comfortable with sharing his secret with everyone, but for now he would rather keep it hidden until a better time. How odd.

On Luke's demeanor and interests:

"When he's not being interrogated by everyone (I'm guilty of that too), he's a very pleasant and playful wolf. He seems to be almost.. childish in his demeanors. One thing we do get along with his interest in video games. He's shared some of the games with me he likes to play and they are honestly some really good classics. For someone who can be pretty childish at times, he seems to have quite a good taste in older classic games. I'm taking a page from Will's book and trying to get along with him with these things we have in common, but I'm not gonna drop my defenses fully until he shares whatever his secret is."
