Ashley

Ashley is a determined, enthusiastic, extroverted kid who can and will befriend anyone who dares cross her path. Despite being a ball of energy around her friends, when it comes to school it’s the total opposite; she is lazy and irresponsible, often opting to find the easy way out, and even though she had good intentions and tried as hard as she could, she can’t seem to get herself to pay attention in class or to get her grades any higher than a C+. Regardless, what she lacks in academic accomplishments, she makes up for in her athleticism and sportsmanship, as well as her social aptitude; she happens to be popular at her school as well, but instead of being the typical mean girl, she’s the sporty girl who is unashamed of approaching pretty much anyone and talking to them. She can brighten any room she enters.

Ashley can often act impulsively due to her lack of patience, combined with her curiosity, which more often than not lands her in quite some trouble (doesn’t help that she’s not in most of her teachers’ good graces). She can also be quick to anger or annoy, as she will become extremely defensive if anyone insults her abilities or her interests. In any case, Ashley is an extremely loyal friend and will back them up no matter what.

Her loyalty and selflessness are the qualities that got her recruited as a Hero of L.I.G.H.T., and while she was extremely excited (as one would expect), to become a magical girl, she soon finds out that the job calls for a little more responsibility and maturity that she is able to muster at the moment. She learns to grow up and do whatever she can in order to protect those who can’t themselves.
