Despite his intimidating height, stoic expression, and surprising silence...
He is only a butler.

Clayton has served the royal family for what seems like ages. Some claim he's been there before the castle was even built, some say he was around when the Sirens allied with Litari, some say that he arrived with Roy. Although nobody could agree on those, they did agree on one thing: he was a dedicated servant.
Many were suspicious of Roy when he arrived, having come just when his parents had passed, leaving him the throne at a convenient time. Him, an alleged prince that had been hidden away for such a time, and with godlike powers with darkness? Many were wary, but Clayton was not one of them. In fact, nobody was sure how he really felt about this new king. He simply claimed that it was his job to serve the throne, not question it. And so he took to caring for the newfound king, watching over him and protecting him from what he could.
Just like a good butler.

Notes: This is a character I've had lots of fun with back when he belonged to protonoise. We always joked about how he would scare Roy from how quiet he is and how serious he is about cleaning up, so when I saw him up for offers I immediately had to grab him. I love him, bless.

Personality: Clayton is a very reserved and serious man. Many describe him as robotic, as he never seems to react to anything. Nothing seems to make him happy, sad, angry, or irritated. He claims he's feeling emotions, but says it with such a monotone voice and serious expression that one can hardly wonder if he's telling the truth. He does not seem to have a sense of humor, as he responds to jokes with silence and a blank stare. Sometimes he will claim that it was a funny joke... but with that same monotone voice and apathetic expression.

Drawing Details: Dresses in a three piece suit with blue and black colors; can also be seen with a dark blue trench coat when he ventures out of the castle. Always has a serious expression.

Fun/Extra Facts:

- Acts like a Roomba; does not like them.

- Has a silent rivalry with King Balthazar's head butler.

- Tries very hard not to scare Roy but ends up doing so anyways.

- Is an incredibly skilled fighter and is very capable of fending off assassins with ease. His weapon is unknown.

- Questions the king's sexuality but does not ever bring it up.

- Claims he had another job before he became the Head Butler. Does not ever explain what it was.

- Does actually get mildly upset when his cleaning is belittled, or when Roombas do his job. Copes by standing in the corner silently.
