Matteo comes from a poor fishing family that lived in an Italian seaside town. He idolized his father who was a fisherman and still does, despite the fact that he racked up a huge amount of debt. Being unable to pay it off, he was killed in cold blood. Not wanting to make matters worse, Matteo's mother sold him off to a criminal organization who eventually sold him to the then owner of S.E.A, Mr. White Sr.

His time with Mr. White Sr. is a bit of a blur and he doesn't like to go into much detail about it. Suffice to say that almost all of the scars on his body are caused from training to be a a cold-blooded murderer under the guidance of Mr. White Sr. Matteo was, for the longest time, an apathetic and numb killing machine who could take out targets with little to no effort. The need to survive through some of grueling training has driven him to some cannibalistic tendencies and while they are not active, it does get a craving every now and then. He spent years as an empty husk just taking orders and not questioning anything until recently...

He is now trying to live a quiet life in the woods with his father figure Royce. Recently, he ran into a lynx type beastman in the forest named Lionel who seems to be trying to get into his good graces..
