LOCH KERSEY

Loch was a delinquent in the human world before he got sent to the byte world, promptly saving his life. Now, with a weird big ol shark body, he still hasn’t given up his life of petty crime, but strives to protect the friends he’s made. It’s something he wished he could have been able to do while he was a human, at least. He still loves to cause trouble in the byte world, but is more keen on protecting himself and his friends, so he doesn't have a repeat of what happened in his past life.

Trivia

• Loch has an ability that allows him to release fumes from his mouth similar to neon that causes an opponent to become more sluggish. This helps him be able to get in closer to an opponent and get bigger hits. It also allows him to distance himself if need be!! (looks like how blood looks in water, similar to some underwater hunting tactics...also can look like smoking but in a cool way because he's not smoking trust YUCK)
• He is a part of a group called the Angst Quartet!! They don't call themselves that in the story but they're all goofy and fun together and then get terrible pain. As one does. The group consists of Angel, Lan, Loch, and Xenon!!
• Loch also adopted a child literally from a trashcan to live with him and the Angst Quartet. His name is Kanik and he's taken quite a liking to Loch!!
• He gets arrested in Pixelsong. Thank God. But unfortunately not for long. At least his friends are happy when he gets back!!

Facial features

Loch has a cut on his left eye, going below the eye and cutting up into the eyebrow. He has three spots at the edges of his eyes, and often has pinpoint pupils like sharks do in bright daylight.

Tattoos

No tattoos. He's always wanted them, but ends up chickening out every time.

Piercings

No piercings. The same as tattoos, he's wanted them, but always holds it off. Maybe it has something to do with the fact he doesn't have visible ears.

Wardrobe

Loch likes to wear a lot of black, something that makes him look tough. Shark-themed shoes, something with bright accents, long jackets, anything of that kind. He...for some reason doesn't have any shirts. Must have had a hard time finding any that wouldn't rip apart because of his shark fins.

Design notes

• Loch has four fingers!! This is not a stylistic choice, they're just little webbed claws
• The green part of his webbed hands is slightly transparent, but just a little bit. I usually go with 80% opacity
• He has cut markings on his snout, left eye, and end of tail.
• He does have a fin on his back!! He's a black tip shark so the fin obviously has a black tip.
