Ùisdean "Wrench" Byer

Ùisdean Wallace Byer, was born after the rediscovery of Boisbéni. He traveled between the modern and old worlds as a child and teen. But inevitably chose to stay in the modern world when he came of age, falling in love with the hustle and bustle of the large cities. (Though he visits his Mam back home regularly when he's got time off)

As he grew alongside the cities, he came to befriend a lot of people, and became rather protective and patriotic for the nation he now called home. So when one of these friends had mentioned joining the army, Ùisdean was quick to follow.

He excelled during his early years, and was quickly scouted for more involved and specialised roles. He made the difficult transition from the army to the marines, taking on his new role head on. From there his training to become a combat engineer and insertion specialist continued. He genuinely loved the work he was doing, and was thriving in this new environment. Even pushing himself through his severe thalassophobia to continue his work (Though he still avoids open water as best he can).

He floated between units and roles for a bit before he was essentially picked up by the scruff for the SAS Special Forces. He earned his callsign 'Wrench' within the SAS.

He proved himself over and over with each deployment. Becoming something of a super soldier thanks to being a Boisbéni, along with his need and drive to continue to train and perfect his skills. Because of this he ended up finding himself in a special international unit, the same one he still finds himself with to this day, though now a Lieutenant.

His Captain, Magnar "Murtsen" Møller, is a special person in his life. The two are very close and Wrench continues to consider offering Magnar his bond. Though he doesn't in fear that it may show favouritism or be seen as ass-kissing to choose his Captain over one of his Sargeants. As the unit's unofficial medic, Wrench often chooses to use his bond as an extra tool in his medical kit, bonding with paitents who need the bond's magical intervention to pull through.

The unit functions much like a family. Wrench is often playfully referred to as 'Mom' or 'Mammy' due to his never ending mothering of everyone he works with. He is always making sure his boys have eaten, slept, showered and have clean, presentable clothing. Often shouldering some of their chores to make sure that they're taking care of themselves.
