Merlin

Merlin is the son of the most powerful wizard in his country and, subsequently, the most influential polition in his universe. Merlin was raised with high expectations to be the perfect heir to his father. And, because it came with luxury and constant praise, Merlin happily obliged.

Everything started to fall apart when Merlin went to the unnamed prestegious magic school. He struggled to keep up with his classes and couldn't seem to do even basic magic. Merlin was forced to face an uncomfortable truth: he has almost no magic ability.

Desperate not to let his father down, Merlin made a pact with a diety to become a warlock, the only way to increase one's magic power in this world, but also a highly illegal act.

He was able to hide his pact all the way until the end of his first year, when a classmate of his, Levi, makes a deal with the same diety and is arrested. Levi gives Merlin the spells needed to disguise himself as a human and tasks him with breaking him out of jail. Together, Merlin and Levi must change the worlds' perception of warlocks so they have a chance at a normal life.
