Oro was born to the king of a species of alien known for their conquests of other planets.

At some point, Earth was targeted for conquest, and Oro was sent down to defeat the Earth for his father.

He didn't expect the Earth to be protected by magical girls, and his goal is to eventually release enough Spirits on the earth to take them down. Once the magical girls are defeated, he will swoop in and take over the world.

That is... assuming he doesn't start to feel guilt for his actions first.
