About

Nyx is an energetic individual with a desire to explore the world and the stars. She is a thrill seeker and enjoys trying out new experiences. However, she is a bit impulsive and sometimes rushes into situations without properly thinking it through. Her close friend, Ty, helps keep her in check.

Appearance

Nyx is fairly fit with light skin and chocolate brown eyes. She has long, dark brown (close to black) hair that is parted on both sides and goes a third of the way down her back. On the top of her head, she has lion-like ears that match the color of her hair. Unlike humans, she does not have ears on the side of her head. Nyx wears black glasses that are held in place with a strap that wraps around her head. Her outfit consists of a two-piece dark gray suit (which resembles a motorcycle suit) with a black belt, black vambraces, and black blast-resistant boots, which are all adorned with reflective slate blue accents. She also wears dark gray gloves and a black shirt underneath her suit.

Nyx often wears black and/or blue clothing and can also be seen in a more casual outfit which consists of a zip hoodie, a shirt, sweatpants, and sneakers.

Abilities

As Nyx is lion-based, she has excellent night vision and hearing. However, she has poor stamina (especially when running), so she usually uses her rocket launcher to propel herself through the air when it's acceptable to do so.

Nyx wields a lightweight rocket launcher which can transform into a lance, but she tends to use the former more often. The property of the blasts from the launcher can be elementally modified which serve different functions. A revolving chamber holds the modifications so she can easily and quickly change it. Nyx's outfit, namely her boots, help protect her from the blasts and from landing impacts when she rocket jumps.

Relationships

Ty [ Close friend ]

Ty is a close platonic friend of Nyx and both seem to enjoy each other's company. Ty helps keeps her impulses in check. They sometimes have to remind others that people can be close friends without the relationship being romantic.

• Nyx is lion-based and is similar to a Faunus from RWBY, but with various changes.
• Her name means "black lion."
• Nyx's ears were originally cream-colored, but it was changed for consistency. Her outfit was also different and was changed to be more uniform.
