About

Ty is a kindhearted yet aloof and stoic former army commander with severe pyrophobia. He doesn't tend to talk much but he displays great leadership qualities and is fiercely loyal and devoted to his friends. Ty dislikes being cold and likes to bundle up on clothing. He is half-human (from his mother) and half-Marigma (from his father). He can be a bit of a goofball at times like his late father.

His father was killed weeks before he was born and thus never grew up with him. His mother enlisted the help of his father's friend to help raise Ty for a few years. When Ty was a young teen, he was part of a large experiment which was disguised as a training camp run by Kronos. There, he learned how to lead and function in a battle force at the cost of physical and mental trauma from the treatment at the camp. After Kronos found that Ty's performance as a commander was sharply declining, he secretly planned to destroy Ty's home and anyone inside via an attack as a punishment even while knowing that it was far too excessive. Upon arriving at the scene, Ty was bent on revenge and went to confront Kronos. In the duel, Ty was frozen in time for a decade which resulted in Kronos losing the majority of his powers from overuse.

Ten years later, Ty unfroze. Now 24, he was stuck in the body of a 14-year-old. He was greatly distressed and inflicted injuries severe enough to leave massive scars onto himself. 3 years later, he attended a prestigious school for combat, where he met all of his current friends. Another year passed, and Ty decided to search for Kronos despite what happened in the past in order to reverse the effects of being frozen in time. Long story short, the effects were undone and Ty was no longer stuck in the body of his younger self. Ty finds it awkward that he is now physically a decade older than all of his friends, but it hasn't affected the quality of his friendships.

He had a mutual crush with his lieutenant back in the camp fourteen years ago, when both were young teenagers. He doesn't know what happened to them after he got frozen, but he hopes to encounter them again. His feelings for them have never waned.

He has a large collection of plush sharks and has individually named every single one of them.

Appearance

Ty is a well-built Makzelo with light skin, ruby red eyes, and short fluffy maroon hair.

Ty keeps his lower arms and lower legs wrapped in cloth bandages due to large scars. His lower arms have large gashes on them, while his lower legs bear burn scars. He is very self-conscious about his body and refuses to ever be nude.

Sometimes, some Makzelo Marigmae conceal one of their markings on the sides of their face, often with the use of makeup. A number of reasons include: to pay homage for being half-human; to show that they are not much different from humans; to show that they are close allies with humans; and to show that they mean no harm to humans. When Ty does this, he tends to choose to hide the marking on the right side of his face.

Abilities

Marigmae typically live twice as long and thus age slower than humans, so they often look younger than they actually are.

Marigmae possess the ability to teleport. He is able to utilize it in combat proficiently.

Marigmae heal significantly faster than humans, but major injuries may result in deformations and/or scars if not treated properly. Marigmae are also highly resistant to substances that can incapacitate typical humans, such as poison or alcohol. They need much higher doses of such substances to have any effect, which can be troublesome for those who need medication such as painkillers, for example.

Relationships

Seraphim and Kazue [ Parents ]

Unfortunately, Ty never knew his father due to him being killed weeks before Ty's birth. He was raised by his mother along with the help of his father's friend who felt that they needed to "repay a debt." Kazue, while strict at times, was very caring and devoted as much time as she possibly could to raise him well in between her mercenary jobs.

"Mother... I couldn't have asked for a better parental figure. I'm ever grateful for your efforts... even though you weren't exactly perfect, haha. I wonder how things would be different if Father never died...”

Sullivan [ Father's friend ]

Ty doesn't have many memories of Sull as he was a part of Ty's life when Ty was still very young. Ty was looked after by him when Kazue wasn't around. Sull finished helping Kazue out (with her approval) when Ty was around 4 years old.

Nyx [ Close friend ]

Nyx is a close platonic friend of Ty and both seem to enjoy each other's company. Ty helps keeps her impulses in check. They sometimes have to remind others that people can be close friends without the relationship being romantic.
