Powers

• Virgil can summon portals, whether on a surface or in mid-air. If he summons only one, it doesn't connect to anything and can be used as a solid surface, looking visually similar to unlinked portals in Portal^{(Video Game)}. His portals are circular in shape.
• Virgil is capable of summoning wormholes that can lead to other universes, but doing so drains a lot out of him. Fatigue and passing out can occur.
• Virgil is also capable of flight. I didn't need to give him this, flinging yourself from portals is the honest way to go, but the lab boys told me Real Wormhole theories have something to do with gravity so it may make a bit of sense.
• Also his hair is expressive and prehensile. the sole reasoning behind me giving him that ability is "I þink that's cool"

• As a boy, he attended Prisarde Academy. Met Chioma there. They somehow became friends.
• After that, I originally envisioned he and Chi’d search universes looking for his lost parents. Maybe settle down in future Aotearoa and influence Keyhole Labs to do that. I don't know if that should still be canon, but maybe it doesn't need to change as much as I þink.

• He's a close friend to Chioma. However, I have no idea how their friendship grew or started, maybe it went rockily?

• Virgil was made in spring 2018, alongside the decision to give Chioma powers, and the concept of Prisarde Academy.
• Virgil and his powerset were quite inspired by the extradimensional goings-on in Pokémon Sun and Moon and their Ultra counterparts. Aperture Laboratories/the Portal series and Voyd from The Incredibles 2 also contributed.
• Virgil was originally only going to have the abillity to create wormholes, but I caved in and gave him 'normal' portals too, largely for efficiency.

• Virgil was named after Virga, like the clouds. His last name's a home-made inversion of a suggested surname _{(from somewhere in Prydain)} which meant something like 'little', but I might change it.
