Do you always have to be the voice of reason
Never sure how she feels about him. Important and respected, but circumstances have often led to her feeling disappointed or let down by him.
Biological Son. Immensively proud of, loves more than anything in the world. Fearful of messing things up with him like he has with all of his previous children, and for that might seem distant at times. Tries his best to be there for him.
Father, a stable source of love and support in his life. Looked up to in many ways and seeks his advice when he sees it's needed, though more times than not he (Altayr) tries to handle things on his own. A little insecure in the fact that Altayr doesn't feel he lives up to his father's image - in a power aspect - but still tries his best. Loved lots regardless, no matter time apart.
Ex whateverthehelltheywere.
Was once "rescued" by, not knowing what Marcus' true intentions were at the time. Ended up living together, quickly falling for him with the amount of care and love given. Lived happily until the home was invaded by Djinn, the one Marcus chose in the end as she possessed qualities Nidhem could never have, the ability to give Marcus children. Tried to live and love alongside the two until the pain of becoming a secondary character in Marcus' life became too painful causing him to leave his home, his cat and his greatest love. Later learned through Talla what Marcus' true intentions were in the beginning. Not sure what to think of anymore. Impossible to forget.
Once a source for great lust and obsession, then his one and only. Loved immensively at one point, loathed from the bottom of his heart the next after being betrayed and dumped by. Mother of his three disowned children, source of bitterness, feelings of great failure surface around her.
Ex-lover; father of Sloane, Mhaica, and Jocelyn. She thoroughly regrets the pain and heartache interwoven with his resentful fury and disgust that permeated their split as well as the unfortunate ways both handled it, even if she ultimately doesn't regret her decision—as shameful as the circumstances most certainly were. She had only ever intended to make Marcus feel happy, fulfilled, and truly loved, and the memory of that promise to him she shattered likewise generates a heavy sense of guilt-ridden failure around him. She still keeps the bracelet he threw at her hooves one tense Valentine's Day, many years ago. Every bit of the happiness, fulfillment, and love she couldn't give him in the end is all that she wishes for him to find. Eventually seemed to make amends with many years later, and is doing her best to navigate their attempt at friendship with a kind and open mind. Appreciates every bit of effort he's given to do the same.
You little shit are the shit. ilu
Former step-father. Once loathed him for trying to take Chrona's place in Liange's heart, highly suspicious of his intentions with her mother and vehemently loyal to her biological father. Eventually eased her resentful opinion of him when she finally learned to accept and appreciate that Marcus' feelings toward Liange were genuine and saw how he treated her delicate mother with love and respect. Although overjoyed when her biological parents rekindled their relationship in spite of it being an affair on both sides, Noemi lowkey felt for Marcus because it turned out he hadn't actually done anything legitimately wrong in the end deserving of Liange's separation. Visited him a few times in secret after her mother left him, intending to help Marcus feel like not everyone was 'against him', and even showed him her art studio in her human world home on one of those occasions. Years passed without any contact, but they recently ran into each other again and she's enjoyed catching up after all of this time... aaand pushing his buttons. Some things never change (:::
