Really good tips! tbh some of these don't apply to everyone, especially if you're not trying to create a business and just sell some designs whenever, but they're good advice for people who want to create a CS or something

Another toyhouse tip is updating your character’s trade listing! Click ‘unlist this character’ at the bottom of their trade listing tab, then re-enter all the trading information. This will put your character back at the top of the browsing section :)

one thing I've been stuck on is how to draw markings. markings such as stripes or swirls and other things, as well as come up with full designs for them. does anyone have any tips ?
I like to observe real creatures and other designers to see how they use markings! I like to collect boards of creatures with cool patterns on pinterest
eventually you get to the point where you can think of your own markings on the fly, but i used alot of reference starting out.
do you have any tips on how to draw the markings ? that's what I'm having the most trouble with, i suck at drawing any lind of markings 3

I also suggest posting at a time where more people are online. ToyHouse often shows the amount of users online, and I usually post an adopt at around 3000 people to gain attraction to my adopts
