Doxcus had a rough childhood due to being an odd hybrid. His mother died giving birth to his and nothing is known about his father. He had to live with his grandparents. His grandmother tried her best to treat him nice but his grandpa openly disliked him and constantly expressed it.

Most schoolmates and people avoided going near him or made fun of his odd appearance. He was only able to make one friend in elementary who was an odd hybrid like him. The two got along well bonding over their "abnormalities" and eventually Doxcus developed a crush on her. She had a fascination of stars and aspiried to become a muscian with Doxcus. A few years the two attempted to do a double suicide but Doxcus unintentionally failed and survived. He had a difficult time dealing with her death and still hasn't gotten over it.

He ends up joining The Service not knowing what else to do. In order to work as solo he forms a "group" with Vī so they both can be solo.
