Ophelia is a secretive little book worm that tends to keep her heart between the pages ofwhat ever book she's reading or journal she's keeping. She's a romantic that sees beauty in almost all walks of life. One of her favorite things to do is take long walks through the forest, getting lost in her own mind... at least the good side of her mind.

As stated before, Ophelia is very secretive, and is very picky about what she does and doesn't talk about. This all has to do with how much she trusts someone, as you'd be hard press to make a witch reveal her secrets. However, with those she trusts she's more of an open book, and regardless, she's a very good listener.
Showing affection
Ophelia's affection is a slow burn. Small gesters and gifts grow bigger amd finally they blossom into her undying loyaylty to those she deems have earned it. She's a kined prson by default, so she'll always find small things to do for others should the need call for it.

When it comes to thing she likes, she throughs herself into them, headfirst. Ophelia could talk for hours and hours at a time about the things that she loves, compleately invested in her interest, and desires. She's also ambitious, always looking to use the things she loves to better the world around her.

Facial features
Ophelia has a round face and plump dimples when she smiles. She has a plethera of freckles on her face, most on her cheeks and on the bridge of her nose. She has a mmore pointed nose with a rounded edge, and doe eyes that are a lovely brown.
Scars & marks
As stated above, Ophelia has a plethra of freckles on her face, but theyer're not just limited there. They also liter her arms and legs along with a plethera of small scars she's gotten over the years. Mostly from unsavory encounters with inquisitors, or just regular accidents she's had in the forest or at home.
Wardrobe
The best words to describe her fashion sense is cottagecore or casual lolita. She's a girl with simple but feminine tastes, but always goes for the options that are the easiest to move in. Her colors of choice are pastels, more specifically baby plues and light pinks.
"Always on" items
Ophelia almost always wears her favorite pink beret. It was a gift from her father that she holds very dearly. Another gift, this time from her mother, is her treasured amulet that she wears around her neck. It also serves as a spell casting focus she can channel her mana through.

V. Favorites
Pink is a comfort character for Ophelia. A lovely color that makes her feel pretty, and makes things that she enjoys even prettier. Not really much more than that. Ophelia loves the the color pink. Plus it's a lovely compliment to her second favorite color, blue.
Camellia's remind her of her mother, her being named after the lovely blossom. Symbolizing longing, love, self reflection, inner strength and adoration. However it also symbolizes a spirit of death, which is ironically is very fitting for the young fungi witch.
Rain is the perfect reading weather. It's good weather to watch a moive at home alone, or finishing your favorite video game. Or grab a good umbrella and is good for taking a nice walk through. You ever sit by the window of a moving train or in your own home, self reflecting about your own life and where you want to go in life? So many things to do during the rain.
Being a hag, Ophelia is a secretive young woman for her own protection. The night serves a security blanket that keeps her safe. A veil that sheilds her from the harsh realities of the world. Whether she's awake or asleep, the moon always knows all of her secrets. The moon keeps her safe. Much like a mother's love.

Chapter I: Humble Beginnings
Ophelia Alice Miller was born on the full moon of August 14th. She is the daughter of Camellia & Alexander Miller, born in The Evergreen Woods themselves. Camellia herself was known as the infamous Evergreen Witch. She was known for her wicked hexes, fierce elemental magic and deadly potions. Alexander Miller, however, was known as a bard. He was a brilliant poet, a master fencer and a talented ballet dancer. While the mage Camellia is, he does know quite a bit of magic that could get him out of sticky situtations. .
Ophelia's early childhood was a rather happy one. She would train with her mother in the ways of witchcraft, while her father would teach her fencing, ballet and piano. After coming out at the age of 9, Alexander would buy her a variety of dresses, jewelry, and accessories. Two of her favorite accessories that her father got her were her golden locket, and her pink baret. The locket itself would even become a tool for Ophelia's craft. Along with her parents, she had a darling god mother by the name of Daliah. Daliah was a dear friend of Camellia's. Daliah would also spoil Ophelia with trips to the theatre, and new books that he quired during her travels.
While growing up in a rather happy home, Ophelia was greatly sheltered from the horrors of the outside world. One of those horros were the existance of witch hunters. Witch hunters were mercanries on the prowel for all sorts of mages and arcane practiciners, in order to capture or kill them. Camellia herself had a great bounty on her head from the church and this came back to not only haunt her but her family as well.

Chapter II: Brutal Inquisition
It was a warm and peaceful night, about 4 days after Ophelia's 8th birthday. She was enjoying a peaceful night on the front pourch with her father while her mother was inside. As she gently reaches from a butterfly flying by, she turns towards the darkness of the forest night with a certain curiosity. She swears that she saw someone moving around in the shadows... but she just assumed that it was just a squirrel or a stray cat... How wrong she was. Just a few moments later, a band of hooded strangers approach the house, causing Alex to stand with a start. Before he could order his daughter into the house, one of the strangers drew a dagger and charged the father & daughter duo. Try as he may to protect his daughter, Alex was vicously cut and slashed by silver blades with a foriegn glint that was unrecognizable. Ophelia, desperate to protect her father, jumped in front of him and was viciously slashed acrossed her right eye... then everything faed to black
When Ophelia awoken, she was back in her bedroom. Her eye wound was bandaged and Daliah of all people was sleeping next to her in a chair. Ophelia shook her god mother to wake her and then questioned her dear god mother of her parent's whereabouts. With tears in her eyes, Daliah tells Ophelia that her parents have tragically been killed by The With Hunters that decended upon her home. It took... well over 10 minutes for Ophelia to process this, but one she did The Evergreen Woods echoed with the wails and hysterical sobs of a 8 year old girl that just lost everything...
The years after the death of Ophelia's parents were rough on the poor girl. Daliah moved from London to Grimmburn and opened up a new magic shop in order to raise Ophelia in Camellia's sted. Ophelia for the first few month was catatonic, almost never leaving her room and barely getting out of bed. In the end, she choose to block out the world with books. Fatansy tales that have happily ever afters served as a comfort for the dark reality that was now her life. Daliah tried to reach out to her, but had to be patient with her. She would offer her more books as a form of comfort, and eventually even got her hooked on a fantasy detective series that would end up being her favorite book series.

Chapter III: The young witch Detective
As Ophelia started to get older she started to become more independent. She started to dedicate her life into become the witch that her mother was, and a paranormal detective. Despite Daliah's deterance, she became determained to become a paranormal detective. Her first solved case came on complete accident. A man who was having things stolen from his home. What was thought to be a regular burglar, Ophelia would later reveal that it was a changling that would take on the form of the many manor staff. Seeing her potential, Daliah relented, going on to teach Ophelia how to use her magic in order to be a proper detective.
Her first challenge would come when the young heir of The Richards family goes missing. After putting her natural intuition and observation skills to the test, she was able to locate the girl being held captive by a rogue inquisitor. However, she did manage to get captuerd by said inquisitor and was able to probably meet Sarah through this series of unfortunate events. The duo got along very well, and were able to put their heads together in order to escape and expose the inquisitor for the scoundral that he is. After that traumatic event, the girls bounded off their shared love for the arcane, and magic. Inspired by Ophelia's desires to be a detective and change the world for the better, Sarah joins her plite, as well as intodrucing her to a young rebel by the name of Claudius Darkwood. Despite being polar opposites, Claudius and Ophelia couldn't get along better. In fact, Claudius helps Ophelia come out of her shell even more, while she helps him soften up a bit. The next members to join the team, are a young summer and paladin of the old faith.
Among her journey of blossoming into the detective she would later become, Ophelia would meet a group of kids that would later become her closest friends. Claudius Darkwood was a rebellious youth that shared Ophelia's desire to change the world. Sarah Richards was a brilliant artificer that had Ophelia's thirst for knowledge. Melissa Hunt was a coruageous youth from America, and would soon become Ophelia's first love. With Daliah and her new friends by her side, Ophelia found a new lease on life. With this new hope in her heart, she would strive to infest everyone with the that same hope. Tragedy happens... but there's always hope on the horizan.
VIII. Combat
Fighting style
Ophelia's attack patterns are more ranged. She can turn any staff, rod and wand into a hand blaster that fires devistating spells and arcane sorcery that she's crafted in order to defend herself and her loved ones from Inquisitors. Most of her magic comes is arcane. An art that focuses on the natural world, study, the elements, and potions. It also a craft that pays tribute to the old faith, an ancient faith that worships the old gods & goddess worshiped by fae, mostly hags. While only given bits and pieces when she was younger by her mother, she's fully thrown herself into the old faith in order to connect with her craft further and cope with the lost of the of her family.
While most sorcerers and wizards will simply twirl and swing their staff to send a beautiful casscade of arcane energe, Ophelia tends to use her staffs, rods and wands as firearms for more pratical use and faster attacks. She also uses magic that atlersthebt ttle field, using magical mushrooms to create illusions, set runes that explodes with necrotic energy when tripped, and she even has a few potions that can be used in combat, such as explosives and poisons.
Necromancy
She has an almost unnatural profiecency with necromancy, to the point where she would easily on par with a litch in terms of her abilities. She's has had this connection with the undead and necrotic energy since the death of her parents.
arcane Magic
Ophelia has spent most of her life studying arcane magic, thus making her extremely adept at it. This has given her control over the elements, grows plants, use herbs for rituals and even bind otherworldly beings to their home dimension.
Potion brewing
While not the most impressive alchemist, she has a decent aptitude, and a robust knowledge of poisons. She can make medicine, diffeetkidsrn n of poisons, smoke bombs and sleeping potions. She can even brew some that explode to throw off Inquisitors.
Curses & Hexes
As part of her craft, Ophelia is very knowledgeable in many curses and hexes. While she does know many, she prefers not use them at all. These curses and hexes can ranged from horrific plagues, to just you having a bad day...or year.

Ophelia can sew and actually uses this skill to cobble togeth wher on clothes. Her father was the one who taught her how to sew and knit and weave!
Ophelia actually loves to play video games. Specifically horror games. Seriously, she can play silent hill 3 and not even flinch.
Ophelia loves music. Her favorite genres include Jazz, R&B, Blues, Lofi, Calssical, Swing, Alternative, Folk Music, Metal and Gothic Rock

After the tragic death of her mother, Melissa met Ophelia after an unsavory encounter with a wicked fae. The two bonded over their pursuit of a better world, and formed a close friendship because of it. This friendship soon blossomed into a young romance between the two, Ophelia seeing Melissa as her knight in shining armor. A protector that slays beasts that harms the innocent and hoards wealth from the less fortunate. She'd do anything to keep Melissa safe.
Ophelia and Sarah's meeting was a strange one, with her being kidnapped by a inquisitor that her faher was in debt to. Ophelia took up Mr. Richard's case and with their combined wit, the two girls managed to slay the witch and escape. Since then, they both have been close friends and constantly enable one another's thirst for knowledge and mystery.
Claudius's passion and drive for a better future through radical actions, inspire Ophelia to press on with her efforts in protecting the innocent. Despite his brash and arrogant nature, Claudius does deepily care for Ophelia and is fiercely protective of her. She can always count on Claudius whenever she needs him, but she knows when he's around trouble is on the horizon.
Juliet and Ophelia aere two sides of the same coin. Meeting after saving each other from an inquisitor. The girls bounded overtheirloveo f magic and desire to change the world. While Ophelia is introverted, Juliet is very soocial. While Ophelia is more cautious an dcalculating, Juliet relies on instinct and is much more adventerous. Despite these differences, Juliet adores Ophelia as a very close friend, and is very protective of her. The feeling is more than mutual.
While originally just partners for a case together, Ophelia & Otto's relationship has blossomed from a tightnit friendship to an even closer puppy love. FreQuently fauning over one another and are very over protective over the other. Ophelia loves the ground Otto walks on but constantly worries for his safety. Knowing every thing to that Otto has been through, she'd do anything to take away his pain.
Belinda, sadly, sees so much of herself in little Ophelia. Wanting to guide the little witch in the right direction, Belinda has since become a mentor to the young girl, so she's ntot stirred in the wrong path. Belinda would be lying if she said she didn't see Ophelia as her own at this point. She adoresth at girl, and would risk life and limb in order to keep her safe.
After working with Ophelia on a case, Alice has grown a great appreciation and trust for The young witch. The world is a very broken place, so Ophelia and Alice strive to fix it together. Ophelia has always admire Alice for her strength, and brilliant mind, but worsrie that her dear rabbit's stubborness will lead her to places unsavory.
After the young witch stumbles upon the shop one day, Daliah offers Ophelia a small job making deliveries for her around Grimmburn. The two grew close, until eventually, Ophelia grew close enough to Daliah to call her, mom. A title that Daliah wears with pride.
Olive clings to Ophelia very tightly to Ophelia, seeing her as a maternal figure. Ophelia is fiercly protective of little Olive, and will gladly spill the blood off anyone that means the tiny child any harm.
Bounded to Opheliat at the tender age of 10 years old, Casper is Ophelia's closest allie and dearest friend. While a sassy cat that gives the witch a playful amount of grief, he cares for her more than anyone and knows her bettertha n anyone else. The two make a dangerous team, Casper being a natural trickster that loves to cause trouble.
