Ace tends to act outwardly aloof and stoic to others. This is not completely intentional. He finds it difficult to properly communicate his feelings, not being able to articulate them. (scroll for more info)
Cupids even from birth are naturally drawn to and produce an aura of love and closeness.
Ace, for some reason, did not get this feeling. He would watch other people around him easily build intimate relationships, and he would feel excluded. Over time, he grew a bit of resentment toward the idea of 'love' because he didn't believe in it. Why did everyone have this feeling that he didn't?
Despite his conflicted feelings, he is very good at his job. He is one of the best sharpshooters the cupids have and almost never misses his mark.
He continued to hold this resentment for love, until... he met one particular person.
