Week 14 by FracturedFlight classicturtleDoctor (he has long since forgotten his real name) was in life a court apothecary to the royal family of a long gone kingdom. he was one of the best apothecaries in the whole realm, and that's why the royal family never let him leave the castle grounds. he was only permitted to help the royal family, the servants who lived in the castle, and the farmers and craftsmen who lived in the castle grounds.
then the plague happened.
the royal family basically lock themselves up in the castle and never let anyone in or out. this included Doctor. he knew that there where people suffering out there so he would sneak out in the dead of night and offer medical help. he knew the risks, if the royal familt found out he could be executed, or he could contract the plague himself, but he thought the risks where worth it to help others.
he ended up getting the plague.
as he laid on his death bed the king, queen, and the oldest son came in to his room. "we can not afford to lose you" the queen said and she ordered her servants to bring him to the lowest part of the dungeon. he was placed on the runed floor and the royal family gathered around him. he was to weak to speak or scream, but he fear for beyond his life.
"you are so valuable to us, so now you will serve our family forever." said the queen. she held up a small vase, and all Doctor could remember after that is he became a ghost (although his clothing was still physical) and that now his soul was pouring out of that small vase.
he had been transformed in to a litch, and that vase was his phylactery.
unlike most litches (most likely because of the purity of his being) he could not be controlled and instead escaped.
he needed to come to terms with what he has become. even though that royal family had done this to him he did not have the heart to harm them.
he has become known as a benevolent spirit that aids the sick and wounded. in certain places he is worshiped as a saint of healing and forgiveness... and birds. he likes birds :)
Rules
Submissions are only accepted and counted through the Art Fight Discord server. This DTA raffle is only for discord server members with the minigames role.
1. All art must be at LEAST a clean sketch with applied color/tone, which exhibits effort and respects the character's design. The drawing must depict the character from at least the shoulders up. Exception to this rule are feral characters, which should be at least neck up. Entries that do not meet the standards will be disqualified.
2. Your entry must be completely safe for work. You cannot draw anything that would need to be spoilered in this server as per our maturity ratings, such as gore, flashing images, body horror, nipples regardless of gender, sensitive content, etc. Sexual themes and content are disallowed server-wide. We cannot predict what kind of content the winner of this adopt is comfortable receiving, so this is a mandatory rule. If your entry is not safe for work, it will be disqualified.
3. You will have a period of one week from when the adopt is posted to draw it. After that period, the game will close, mods will tally up all the entries, and raffle it off to one lucky user! The tracking sheet will be posted when each adoptable is released.
4. You may enter once per adopt raffle. Any additional entries are considered gifts and do not increase your chances for winning.
5. You may win two times per minigame season. After this, you may continue to draw for the adopt, but you will no longer be entered into the raffle. You may also enter another user in your steed, as long as they have not already entered for themselves.
6. All art the winner receives from the raffle is a gift. We ask that the winner does not profit off of any art they receive through the raffle. Exploitation of this rule may result in blacklist at moderator discretion.
How to Upload your Art
You can upload your art to this Toyhouse profile for the future winner! Please note, you must submit your art in the #draw-to-adopt channel for it to be counted in the raffle. Uploading your art to this Toyhouse profile is optional.
- You must have a Toyhouse account to upload art to this profile, or you can ask a friend to upload it for you.
- At the top of website, select the Submit button, then click on Image.
- Upload your image with the Choose File button at the top.
- Add the DTA character by clicking Add Character under the Character Section.
- Click on the arrow next to My Characters, select from Other User's Characters and type in artfight in the username box that appears. Click on the arrow next to the username box, a window should pop up on top.
- Select the DTA Folder, click on the DTA Character.
