Academic Experience: Gradate of the smeet academy, flight academy, and several advanced space craft classes. He somehow owns every vehicle license an Irken could possibly get and even helped pilot the Massive for a while.

Backstory:

For most of his early life, Audi was just a short loser that nobody cares about. He had few friends, but this somehow didn't bother him much. Whenever the other smeets tried to put him down, he just put his music wires around his antennae and silently ignored them until they went away. However, he managed to make one friend: an orange eyed little Irken dancer named Admin. They hung out a few times, but Admin was too busy with extracurricular dance classes and gymnastic competitions to make time for Audi.

After Audi graduated from flight training, he was assigned the job of a delivery boy between novelty shops on the alt fashion and novelty fandom merch planet Gothzloopic. He got frequently hit on by employees and especially customers which didn't help with his shyness and increasing social anxiety. He took a liking to a few guys and girls of the goth haven, but none of them loved him for anything other than some surface level traits, a frustrating cycle for a guy looking for someone he could spend the rest of his life with.

Just as the cycle of underpaid delivery seemed truly endless, Audi was surprised to find that he grew a foot taller. He was finally free! He was reassigned to be a navigator on some Irken mechs, but was soon hired to fly the massive for his talent! It was everything he ever dreamed of! Audi LOVED piloting the Massive...but the Tallest didn't like him very much. He was too socially awkward and introverted for their liking; an Irken who wasn't good at parties was no fit for the Massive in Red and Purple's eyes.

Then came Elite Scout Krid with a proposal of his grand, epic journey to chart more of the universe. With it, he requested a navigator to provide the necessary advanced flight maneuvers. The tallest accepted Krid's proposal and used it as an opportunity to dump Audi onto someone else. Audi was heartbroken that he was the navigator chosen to get kicked off the Massive and started his career with Krid resentful over losing his old job for this.

A few years of adventure passed with Audi progressively growing more and more comfortable with Krid like an introvert taking a liking to an extrovert adopting them. Krid dubbed their team "The Aquateers" for some reason that Audi still can't understand. The Aquateers soon came across a distress signal from troubled Invader Monk who got himself into trouble on a planet of cows. The team successfully saved Monk and integrated him into the crew, but their ship got destroyed by furious bulls in the process. Audi was the most devastated of the crew at the loss of their ship.

Present (Season 1): The Aquateers live on as a crew working living with and working for Inventor Sam, being given monies under the table in return for them helping Sam find meat to satiate his cravings. Audi hates Sam and hates the arrangement, but goes along with it because the more monies they get from Sam, the closer they are to getting a new ship and being an independent crew again. Audi is still their prime navigator who's currently in charge of the Fleischo Manifesto's flight.

But there is another thing reigniting Audi's motivation: his reuniting with and courtship by Admin. She has since became a very successful dancer, but resents Tallest Red and Purple for not appreciating the fine art of dance like Miyuki did even after the lifetime of dance research she got from Earth. No, all they want is flashiness and fast movement. So Audi and Admin find escapism from their plights and failed dreams in each other...slowly building a new dream of their own.

Present (Season 2): Audi has had ENOUGH of other Irkens bugging him and asking why he's in X Y or Z location, all because his stupid Pak tracks him constantly. He's sick of worrying about his Pak recording everything he does and potentially being used against him in court. He's done, he wants to be free. He wants to be free...because it's the only way that he could safely get his dream future with Admin: a married life on a beach coast surrounded by their own smeets.

Luckily, Sam happens to also be curious about Irken paks and the big question of "can we live without them?" Audi agrees to be Sam's personal gunea pig for a pak removal procedure...which surprisingly ends up being successful! He and Admin are now pak free and had their first batches of extremely young smeets that they care for on Sam's ship, but where will they go from here?

Note: Invader Zim is a series with multiple branching timelines  from the main one. What I covered on this page is Bea's story before,  during, and shortly after the events of the TV series. However, there  are three timelines that come from that one: the Florpus timeline, the Comic timeline, and the Bunny timeline. Audi's future life in those timelines will be covered in some tabs...sometime in the future when I write them.

Sean used to have a different name, it's retconned now

Oliv, Sean, and Maria are the first of Audi's babies and the only ones born before the other timelines begin. At the moment, they're just wee little smeets that act like young toddlers. Audi loves them with all his heart and would do anything for them, he just wishes that he could get them off of Sam's ship. Due to all the complications that came with carrying triplet eggs at Audi's height, the first triplets are the only eggs that he lays himself with their future siblings being laid by Admin.

Sheeb, Sprocket, Kianna, Elijah, Matthew, Layla, & Ian ^{[future smeets]}

These smeets aren't born until the timeline split, but they're still worth mentioning on Audi's main page.

Benz & Dodge ^{[triplet brothers]}

Fun fact, did you know you're more likely to have a multiple birth if your family has a history of multiple births? So it shouldn't be a surprise that Audi is a triplet himself. Well, it was a shock to him, but that's because they weren't born in the way you think. Way back when Audi was created, the smeeteries got a little lazy and copy+pasted his DNA for two more smeets to meet the zygote quota that day. That's how you get three Irkens who are genetically identital that never actually met. They were all grown in seperate tanks and were ready to break out at different times with Audi being the latest bloomer of the three. Then there were so many smeets in every class that they all happened to never meet each other.

It wasn't until many years later when Krid took Monk and Audi to a club district to have some down time. Benz happened to be the club DJ where Krid went and Dodge happened to be selling space weed at a store Monk visited. Both Krid and Monk dragged the brothers with them thinking that they were Audi in disguise...only to find Audi trying to hide in a ramen shop. The confusion was cleared up and Audi actually got to meet his brothers for the first time.

Benz seems very similar to Audi on the surface, being a fellow music lover and 20x more soft than Audi is...which makes Benz being a frequent raver and electrohouse artist very shocking to Audi. Dodge is extremely different from both personality wise, being a stoner and an anarchist punk, but he's not ashamed of any of it. The three brothers call each other occasionally and always make sure to stay in touch.

I don't have anything written about her, I just really love making jokes about Audi having a sister named Mercedes.

Admin ^[wife]

Admin is the muse of Audi's live, always inspiring him with the art of her dance and her own love for music. Audi's love of Admin is so strong that it's the only reason he got the bravery to remove his pak and reject the life that the Irken machine set him on. She brings out the best from Audi while simealtaneously making it clear who's the top in the relationship and neither of them would have it any other way. They also bonded heavily over being severely underappreciated by the current Tallest. They're currently proud parents of the most adorable smeets in the universe (at least in the Aquateers' eyes).

Krid ^{[best friend/leader]}

Audi LOATHED Krid when they first met. Not only was this guy a total schmoozer that suddenly acted like he and Audi were going to be BFFs, but his request for a navigator was what caused Audi to lose his dream job! For the first week that they knew each other, Audi silently obeyed Krid's orders and refused to make anything more than awkward small talk out of spite.

Days passed, then a week...then something subtly changed within Audi that he still can't pin down. Maybe it was him finally getting over getting transfer, maybe it was him subconsciously accepting that this was how life was going to be from then on. Either way, Audi started making more than just small talk with Krid. They gradually got to know each other more and more until they became something moreso resembling friends than co-workers.

In modern times, Audi's been working with Krid for so long that he can't imagine his life without him. Audi knows all of Krid's secrets and vice versa. Though their personalities are still complete opposites, they understand each other on a much deeper level. They look out for each other and Audi finds comfort in knowing that no matter what situation he gets into, Krid will find some way to get him out.

Monk ^{[fellow aquateer]}

Audi first got word of Monk when he received his distress signal from the nearby cow planet. Audi is grateful that he and Krid successfully saved Monk's life, but he can't help but feel that Monk uses his second chance on life...irresponsibly. His romance with Krid also makes Audi their awkward third wheel most of the time. However, Audi holds none of this against Monk and instead sees him as a fun addition to their crew and someone to match Krid's energy, giving Audi some much needed alone time to recharge his social battery. Audi has had to step in and prevent Monk from getting himself killed every now and then, but Monk's always a good sport about it.

Carlos ^{[old friend/former coworker]}

(The unnamed Comms Officer from the show and Enter the Florpus; he has no official name but Latin American Zim fans call him Carlos)

Back on the Massive, Carlos was the guy Audi connected with the most. The tallest always labelled them as the poopers of the party since they were the two biggest wallflowers. Carlos taught Audi some of the lesser known secrets about the Massive and frequently reminded him that the tallest weren't always right. Unfortunately, they drifted apart after Audi got transferred. Audi wishes he could reconnect with Carlos, but it's been so long that Audi isn't sure how to start a conversation with him.

Sam ^{[commissioner]}

Audi has an extremely odd relationship with Sam. Audi absolutely loathes how carnivorous and manic Sam is, especially when Sam invades his personal space or orders him around like a ship servant. However, it was all thanks to Sam that Audi was able to drop his pak and start his family, so he can't help but be grateful for his odd commissioner.

Frani

Audi met the almighty founder of rebel group SRSLI (Secret Rebellion of Secretly Liberating Irkens) Frani via Dodge inviting them both to a call. Frani deeply respects Audi for realizing how bad the tallest were after getting transferred and making the extremely bold choice to remove his pak. She even offered him a top position in the organization, but Audi had to decline for the protection of his family. Frani understood his decision, but still keeps in touch with him as a friendly aquaintence, giving him occasional updates about what stupid thing the tallest did this week.

Jett

Jett is Admin's ex dance partner, so Audi has thought of him as a romantic rival ever since he knew about the guy. Jett is everything Audi isn't when it comes to confidence and dance. Audi's anxiety over Jett has been extinguished by his marriage to and family with Admin, but Audi's greatest fear was Admin leaving him for Jett back in the very early days of their relationship.

Tallest Red and Purple ^{[former bosses]}

This would be a shock to his old colleagues, but Audi's feelings towards the Tallest have been completely reversed since his old Massive days. You see, even as he was being transferred, Audi still held the tallest in high regard and blamed Krid for him losing his dream job. Then Audi spent more and more time with Krid and grew to like him, allowing him to fully realize just how little the tallest actually valued him. Nowadays, Audi lives in fear of the tallest because if they find out about him going pakless, he could lose not just his life, but his legacy and entire existence with it.

Zim

It's hard to call Zim and Audi enemies per say, but Audi does not like Zim at all. If there's anything Audi will  never understand about Krid, it's why he's always so damn excited to visit Zim on Earth. Every time Audi has visited Zim's base, he's been met with nothing but judgement and commands as if he's Zim's navigator as well. There's many things Audi likes about Earth, but he wants to stay far away from Zim at all times.

Behind-the-Scenes History: 

When Krid was being created through community polls I ran on Amino, one of the last polls decided what Krid's sidekick or minion would be. The community was given a choice of a SIR unit, other robot, etc...but the most popular choice was giving him a shorter Irken sidekick. I decided that Krid's sidekick would have to be a navigator since his thing is exploring space (and I thought the navigators were adorable), thus Audi was born!

Audi spent his early days just being the shy sidekick in Krid's shadow, just kinda being there and having an anxious personality to contrast Krid's confidence. But...that was it. Audi's entire existence just centered around being Krid's navigator like an Irken Luigi.

That all changed when my friend Genny Denny started making an Invader Zim animation to DNCE's Kissing Strangers. She asked the Zim Amino community for OCs to cameo in the animation and I nominated Audi because I thought it would be kind of funny and he didn't get enough love. Genny REALLY liked Audi and he basically became her favorite OC of mine. It got to the point where we started shipping Audi with her self insert which rapidly evolved into the story Audi and Irken Admin have today.

In 2019, Audi received an upgraded redesign to go with the one that Krid received, but he didn't change much character wise.

Then there's the whole baby thing, oh GOD is that a story. Back in summer of 2019, my entire existence became dedicated to hyping up the release of Invader Zim Enter the Florpus. During this period, word got out that Tak's voice actress Olivia Jane d'Abo was part of the cast. I'm a massive Tak fan, so I took this at face value and immeditely started hyping everyone up like "YEAH Tak's going to be in it!!!" My friends played a little devils advocate with me and joked about it like "Watch, she'll only get a cameo and no lines." That's when I put everything on the line and proclaimed "I swear, if Poonchey gets more lines than Tak I'll make Audi canonicly pregnant!"

The movie came out. Poonchey got three lines. Tak...got none. I couldn't believe it, I had been completely bamboozled. Olivia Jane d'Abo was only the voice of Tak's ship in the film. Not only did I dupe myself, not only did I dupe everyone else, but I had to make Audi give birth to some babies. That morning after I watched the film, I got a message from Gen like "Hand over the babies." That October, Sean, Maria, and Oliv became Audi's first babies.

"The Tak incident" is something that Genny and I still joke about to this day, but what makes it REALLY wild to me is the fact that I've gotten so used to it. The incident happened when Audi was only a year old and a lot of time has passed since then, allowing me to more naturally weave the birth of his smeets into his story. Now it's such an important part that it can never not be canon.

To think, somewhere in an alternate universe where Tak WAS a major part of Enter the Florpus, the first triplets would have never been created and Audi's story would have never involved him going pakless.

• Audi's voiceclaim is Yian Ruiz, the English voice of Dr Flug post pilot
  • Audi's original voiceclaim back in the day was Todd Sayre, Dr Flug's English voice in the CN shorts
  • Fittingly, Dr Flug is the love interest for the Villainous version of Admin
• Audi's brothers came from a scrapped "original insectoid universe" version of my Zim OCs' stories. In it, Audi was a rolli polli alien and Admin was a butterfly. I gave Audi two identical brothers to settle some creative disputes over what to do with him. The de-Zimified versions of these characters were scrapped when I realized fandom characters didn't need to be turned original to be valid, but Audi's brothers got to stay.
  • These insectoid versions of the characters live on in a minor AU - "The Buggy AU." In it, Benz and Dodge are also Aquateers like they originally were in this scrapped story.
  • Audi's brothers were originally named Audio and Audin, then Audio and Audit. Their final names became Benz and Dodge to make writing about them way less confusing.
• Gen and I have a joke AU where Audi is a ride attendant and Admin is a park guest. There's a lot of tension when he pulls down her lap bar.
• The original reason I made Audi bi was to add someone who was bi like me to the 2018 pride art
• I didn't realize how relatively tall the Irken Navigators are until long after I made Audi. I feel like making him taller would go against his character, so it's another reason that the Tallest didn't care for him.
