Profile
A once well-known musician in the United States who specialized in singing in jazz lounges and other clubs during the 1930s, and 40s. Yavuz acted in only two movies alongside actor Marion Milton.
In 1928, at the age of 18, the Turkish-born aspiring singer moves to the States where he begins his career. It is unfortunately short-lived. During his fame in the 1930s he was sought after and quickly rose to sex symbol status. This was the same decade his five kids are born, before he settles down with only one of the women he was with, Angelita, and half-assedly raises his son, Adem.
His rise to fame was quick, and unexpected to him, but he accepted it graciously.
