Khayri
Zahir is Khayri's master. Zahir encountered Khayri injured after attempting to escape his former master who was trying to sell him after mistreating him for years. On sheer impulse, Zahir purchased Khayri from his old master and set him free. Instead of escaping, Khayri was so overcome by gratitude for his saviour that he decided to follow Zahir as his "slave," much to the other's annoyance. Zahir ended up keeping Khayri as his "pet" and assistant. Zahir acts as if Khayri's presence was a bother, but he can't help but find the giant axolotl endearing. He can't help but spoil Khayri, often buying him delicious food or expensive trinkets.
