This monster of indeterminate species isn't part of the royal guard, though she wishes she was. Romai is a skilled warrior, being able to best most foes in combat with little effort. They can run with the wind and command the magic of the skies, even as deep underground as they are. They can effortlessly weave and pull the energies surrounding everything, manipulating their own aura to grow life or wither it away, to empower themself or to strip foes of magic. The only reason she's not been recruited to the royal guard yet is that she's far too powerful to handle- she can hardly contain even her simple magic, and using it too much results in her own life being drained and potentially tearing herself apart just to cast spells.
Romai almost always has a dull ache at the back of her eyes, a result of her indescribable magic threataning to spill out. She often casts small spells to do meaningless tasks in order to regulate this- if she lets it build up for too long, she's likely to pop.
