Browlet

As soon as Mars was hatched he was trying to fly his way to the ocean. His tiny wings might not have gotten him very far, but his flock eventually did relocate closer to the water! Mostly for access to the boardwalk and the seasonal work, but it benefitted the browlet perfectly.

Fledgling

Mars learned how to surf while quite young with help from other members of his flock. Many of them were adept and spent much of their time in the water, which only further ignited Mars's love for the seas. He often busied himself with contests and had a gig working as a lifeguard from a relatively young age. With his wings and webbed feet he was a natural in the water, though his skill with actual flight leaves a lot to be desired.

Young Adult | Current

Mars eventually moved out from his flock's nest, though he's still very close with them all. The only family member to follow him was his younger brother, Bishop. The two share a flat and help support one another in between their strange hobbies and professions. When Mars isn't tending to the swim up bar or taking over a lifeguard he's off hunting for parties and events to crash.

• Mars is awful at flying. He instead uses them underwater to propel himself, much like a penguin.
• The browbird is absolutley in love with the holidays, Frostfall being his favorite. He's a "seasonal music starts two months too early" sort.
• He doesn't quite understand all of the technology that his brother works with, but he supports him all the same.
• A natural born thrill seeker, some of Mars's favorite times are surfing during bad storms.
• He tries to fish off of the boardwalk when he has downtime, but he's not particularly good at it.
