GENERAL:
- Written pieces work differently than other commissions on this site in terms that they can take a varied amount if time. Some take me three days, some can take a couple of weeks, and all time is varied. I will update you through every single step, and if you want a fix expedited a fee can be negotiated, but please take in mind that my writing process follows the schedule of inspiration versus burnout! That's what my Trello for updates is for!!
- You can edit the fic* if you want as long as the same characters and themes are still featured! Only requirement is that you mention somewhere that you have edited the piece (unless it is a small typo fix, or something of the sort).
- I will upload the literature and tag your characters so they show up in their profile! If you prefer I don't tag your characters, I won't make it public outside of writing example posts on my profile.
- You can re-upload to any platform as long as you state that the fic was commissioned/traded and written by me, and preferably link to my profile. If it's a profile I havce an account on (AO3 for example) I can upload it for you if requested. For Toyhouse, if your character has a profile I will be uploading the literature and tagging them, so you don't need to deal with the formatting stuff ^^ If you'd prefer to do so on your own, or prefer I do not tag your character, please let me know.
- DO NOT use my writing for any kind of commercial purpose. If you want to commission writing for an OC / Species / TTRPG or anything else that will be monetized, a premium extra fee can be negotiated
- DO NOT use any of my writing for AI stuff. Just not the vibe.
- *Only exception for editing the fic: DO NOT use my writing for any hateful/illegal or immoral purpose. No adding random slurs, creating an age gap in the characters,etc. Keep that away from my writing, please.
- I have the right to refuse a commission/trade if I am uncomfortable or unable to write the subject matter, characters, theme, prompt, or others. If this is the case, we can talk through an alternate prompt. If the problem relies on communication or the commissioner/person who I am trading with, I have the right to refuse a commission/trade.
- Pieces with NSFW or gore will be subject to an extra percentage fee of the full word count, determined via the theme/characters/complexity of the prompt. I am always open to give you a quote via DMs!
- Romance will not be written with a minor/adult ship. Familial works are totally fine, but not romantic (or, of course, no sexual).
- I might upload the fic to another platform for example purposes. ie AO3, Tumblr, Twitter, etc. If you don't want me to upload with your character's name intact, let me know! I can always replace their name with a random placeholder to keep your character's name private. COMPLETELY private pieces (where I cannot post as portfolio even when censoring your characters' name and defining traits) might be subject to a exclusivity fee.
COMMISSIONS:
- Payment for over 20 is full or half upfront. I will not finish/clean the last draft/post unless the whole payment has been made by the end of the drafting process.
- Payment for 20 USD or under full upfront / Payment for NSFW or GORE pieces is full upfront
- All prices are be subject to a 50cent convenience Online-transaction fee unless purchased via Goods and services (Giftcards, applicable subscriptions, Trades etc)
- Requesting refunds are only possible BEFORE first draft has been started if requested by you. Only exception is: If by any situation I cannot deliver the product I will refund you for everything you've paid regardless of the stage!!
- Commission timing may vary a lot depending on wait list and my availability. Every time I make a change or progress on your commission it will be marked on Trello.
- Each draft from me might take from a couple of days to a couple weeks. Feel free to check in whenever you'd like!
- Once approved in a previous draft, I will not delete paragraphs/over 250 words to accommodate the word count. If this happens, I will happily go 300 words over what we had established initially, but I will not delete something I wrote to make room for more words, given that the time has already been spent working on that section.
- Each re-draft of the previous working draft is free under 300 words. If you want more than that to be wiped and re-written, an additional fee might be applicable, within reason.
- I am allowed to reject a commission if uncomfortable with the person or theme of the writing piece.
- To re-state, there are no refunds once the first draft has been started, especially if the first draft has already been delivered. If I am "ghosted" by the commissioner while in a WIP draft, AKA if the commissioner has not communicated about the current draft for more than two/three weeks, even when multiple messages have been sent and read, I reserve the right to cancel the remainder of the commission if I so desire. Once again, no refunds would be offered.
- If a lack of communication has happened, and more than a month has passed since I heard from them, the piece will go to my "No Response" section in my queue, and the commission will be canceled.
TRADES:
- If there is no update (sketch or even a text) I will be revoking access to the document and will not finish the piece until that update is provided.
- If the other side of the trade is not delivered with notice for over a month or more, I have the right to upload the fic in whatever platform/form I want, if I so desire. I will be changing the character names and defining features if it's an OC job.
- If your side is running more than two weeks late, please tell me!! I don't care about time as well as I am kept well updated. I will extend the same courtesy to you.
- Ghosting will mean blacklisting, of course. If you see that you cannot complete your side of the trade, let me know as SOON AS YOU CAN. Don’t make me do three rounds of edits to just puff out of existence. Not cool man.
- When trading, I will not be smoothing out (taking care of typos, repeating words or doing last draft revisions) until I’ve had at least one update on your side of the trade. This is to protect myself from handing a final piece and receiving nothing.
ABOUT NSFW AND HEAVY GORE WORKS:
- Minor violence or low description violence is not considered gore and as such will not be charged extra! So characters fighting, getting injured, etc is all included in base price.
- Characters making sexual innuendos, flirting, talking about sex in passing or giving each other erotic yet non-explicit touches (kissing neck, making out, etc) is not considered NSFW and will not be charged extra!
NSFW commissions will require proof of age and written consent that you are 18+ of age before I start writing any sexual topic. DO NOT REACH OUT if you are a minor. I am an adult writing for adults only.
TW ABOUT SEXUAL AND GORE SUBJECTS, PLEASE READ ACCORDINGLY:
SEXUAL THEMES: (Sales do not apply unless directly stated)
- I will only be writing for characters who are 18 (adults, regardless of fantasy age) and consenting.
- I will not write about illegal ""taboo"" philias or kinks, regardless of the fantasy element. No minors, no animals, no death (I can write character death, it will just not be involved with sexual topics). More topics might apply, I will mention them if I am uncomfortable with writing a specific subject-- and I am always happy to find an alternative with you!
- I am most comfortable writing for humanoid characters. Humanoid races are fine!
- Pricing is via word count then an extra percentage of said word count based on the explicit nature of the fic, between 50/70%+. More or less shall be discussed with the commissioner. I am always open to talking about how you want and figuring out a pricing and scene that works best for you!
GORE: (Sales do not apply unless directly stated)
- The only subjects I can think about that I have blacklisted in my writing are explicit self-harm, hanging, and sexual violence. Overall I am comfortable writing other descriptions of gore, but will list them alongside with what you are looking for and we can have a conversation over what I am comfortable writing and what you are comfortable reading! More topics might apply, I will mention them if I am uncomfortable with writing a specific subject-- and I am always happy to find an alternative with you.
- Heavy gore-related fics will be charged a percentage of the base word count. This can be determined via your wants and your prompt, from 30/50%+ of the initial word count. I am always open to talking about how you want and figuring out a pricing and scene that works the best for you! VERY GRAPHIC PIECES MIGHT BE SUBJECT TO OVER 50% OR MY REFUSAL TO WRITE AS A WRITER.

- This policy was already in place, but just to make it more accessible in TOS: NSFW and Gore pieces are to be paid upfront unless specifically stated by me.
December 9th
- Edited color of highlighted effects.
- Payment from 20 or under is now fully upfront. Payment for a bigger amount can be done half before the start, half after the first draft/a certain wordcount determined by writer.
- Cleaned up details about commission information, such as posting for portfolio purposes.
January 3rd 2024:
