Sometimes an incubus is just an incubus.
Ezri was supposed to be a good demon and do his job but he gets so easily sidetracked with human customs like slacking off, and desperately needing a hamburger and chocolate milkshake before continuing on with his existence.

His demonic parents are so ashamed of his lack of motivation. Thankfully, Ezri hasn't seen them in many centuries.

He snacks on human souls about as fast and without thought much like when eating a bag of cheetos. The more soulpower he gains through the common incubus methods, the more he can utilize within the demonic realm-- which is where his family is, and that's a real bummer, so... He's been kinda avoiding that.

If he consumes souls in a less 'physical' sense, the less he receives in return (which is what he's been doing for who knows how long).
...sometimes that's ideal. Well, just in Ezri's case... for now.

Personality

Ezri is quite 'goofy' (just a little too eager about human customs-- part of his silly nature is his naivete when it comes to humanoid things), and has no reservations about his appearances, both personality-wise and appearance-wise. As an incubus, he knows he looks charming to most (weak-willed) humanoids, so he rarely has need for introspective worries or self-conscious pity parties. 

Also as an incubus, he is receptive to others, touchy-feely of course, empathetic through his powers when he utilizes them, but otherwise a little bit clueless to how a humanoid's usually thought process would go.

And, most importantly... He's literally the demonic embodiment of the "shows up 15 minutes late with starbucks" meme. A very lazy creature who prefers his interests to come to him and shower him with affection and attention. When he does not get these affections, he is shocked and goes out of his way to see if he can win his interests over.

Trivia

- Has to use a facemask to cover his bright tongue.
- He also uses what little power he has left to disguise his wings and tail, in the humanoid realm. It's uncomfortable for him, so if he's completely alone or in company he trusts with his life, he will 'let go'. Sometimes, due to laziness and complete lack of self-preservation, Ezri assumes someone means the best for him just so he can do the ~big reveal and get comfortable.
- He's alluded to having a greater form when he obtains more powers through the common incubus methods... But has never actually done it. So... It is a mystery.
