King Arthur Nightfall's Links
My world, my life, my beloved daughter. She is everything to me. So much so, that I will defy death itself if it meant she would not endure the pain of losing one's only parent. Her mother left us while Tari was still just an egg. The loss of one love gave way to the greatest love I have ever been blessed with: my love for my daughter. I will do anything for my sweet little bird. My hope is that I have done well in blessing her life, and granting her the peace she deserves. She's the girl I fought Nightmare for, and continue to raze armies of evil to ensure her peace.
Father! He's raised me on his lonesome since I was just a tiny egg. Somehow, some way, he found a way to balance giving me his time and attention while also leading the entire Star Warriors. He's not just my father, but has always strived to be my best friend. We're always in contact with one another through texts, calls, and letters via mystic arts. While I am his blood, he has told me time and time again that I am not bound to inherit his crown, and that I can choose what I want to do with my life. Father's determined to keep it, that's for sure. I do love him dearly. He's truly my best friend and done splendidly in giving me a fantastic childhood in Portside.
*You're my dad! Boogie-woogie-woogie!*
Okay, silly memes aside, this is my father! While he and I don't share blood, we do have a tight bond. He raised me singlehandedly, much like I had to raise my own daughter. As an adult, I now understand how hard it was for him, raising me alone. Still, he's my greatest inspiration. I hope to one day be as half a brilliant man as you are, father...
My son, and heir to my crown. He's grown into a fine king, even if he can't bring himself to believe it. He does me proud every day! While my crown is a bit small for his large head, I'd say he did grow into it well. His tiny goatee is amusing. It's surprising how big he's gotten over the centuries.
My best friend and right hand knight! He first was my escort in the Dracoria Kingdom, assigned to me when I inherited the crown by King Galaxious himself since he knew we were already acquainted. I was clingy as a young lad, so it often deterred his lecherous behaviors in his earlier days as a knight. Regardless of his rough beginnings, he proved himself to be my most loyal knight, and closest friend. Aside from my daughter, Tari, he knows my every secret. I would like to believe I know all of his, however my intuition tells me there's something important that he's hid from me for years... A mixed twinkle in his eye whenever we speak of a certain adversary of his.
Back in the day, I was voluntold to be his escort, against my own decisions. I was chuffed about it at first. However, he was but a boy in pain, mourning the loss of his father. I didn't have it in me to shoo him away or deny him. He became one of my closest friends, as I vowed my services to him throughout the years. There were times where I wasn't a good friend to him, yet he never left me. Arthur is hard on himself, but I think he lives up to his father's name without fail. And I'm sure that Orpheus would agree. I would follow him onto any battlefield, and I would serve any order. The only thing I cannot do is reveal to him the things that I know about Anselm. I have my burdens to bear, and I will not put them on him.
My dear sister. Thank you for being at my and Galahad's side for all these years. I know you speak of my hardships, but you too suffered immensely following the loss of my father. You and I both seem to have drawn the short stick in the great gamble of life. Seeing how your loss devastated you has broken my heart for years. My hope for you is that you find new joys in your life someday, ones that bring blue to your eyes and laughter in your heart. Oh how I love your laugh, Branwen, as villainous as it may sound to others! For you, my dear, I will always raise my sword if you ever should need it as well. I will always be there for you whenever you call, just as any good brother should.
Dearest brother Arthur! We grew up together at Master Orpheus' side! After the loss of Master Orpheus, I know that you struggled so much to carry on what he left behind. Many doubted you, and plenty of others hardly respected you enough. Why, you were just a boy! If his loss left me in shambles, I can only imagine what it was like inside of your heart. It inspires me to see how strongly you've carried on, and to see how tall you stand while leading the Star Warriors! No matter the era, and no matter the time or day, I will always be at your service– ready to jump in whenever you need me.
Why... Everything and everyone I've loved... All my father worked to build... He died for it all. And you... Why....
I've no quarrels with this fine man, but whom he serves deserves my ire. Malacai is a rare, pure soul, which feeds into the incredible amount of power he wields. If only he swore to my crown instead, perhaps history would have gone about differently. Regardless, he's loyal to a fault. Kindhearted and good-willed. He's tried his best to be something of a father figure to me in the absence of my own. Heaven knows my grandfather is terribly awkward with me and struggled to fulfill that position. I'm grateful to Malacai for being a comfort in my worst hours.
The adorable son of my friend Orpheus! While they're unrelated by blood, it's easy to see Orpheus' influence in this young man. *laughs* I say young, but he's an adult now! Quite the LARGE adult as well, goodness! He'd dwarf Orpheus with his size! Regardless though, I do feel sympathy for his position. Forced to the crown prematurely. Poor lad. He's taken it in stride, though I know he's struggled over the centuries. I've done my best to lend him my advice, and given him my love as a father would. He doesn't deserve the amount of troubles he's faced on his lonesome. Some, in comparison, perhaps even worse than what Orpheus went through in his youth.
