Neela

Before Neela was even born, her parents King Gwondoya and Queen Deka had many attempts at having children which all failed in someway, as they got older they started to give up even having a child. It wasn't until Queen Deka prayed to any god above to bless her and her kingdom did she finally have a baby. Neela was an odd case though, magic was well known around Shama but it seemed like Neela was practically infused with magic due to the gem on her head. The kingdom believed this was just another blessing from the gods and that she'd grow up to be a powerful ruler for Shama.

For years, all was well for Shama and their allyships continued to grow. Queen Deka took it upon herself to teach Neela how to be the perfect princess and soon a perfect queen, during these years Neela would also grow close to Princess Ophelia of the Arcturus Kingdom and the two would have a relationship unbeknownst to their kingdoms for years.

Shama continued to prosper until a sudden illness struck the kingdom. Citizens were beginning to fall ill left and right until they'd eventually die, always bleeding from any opening on their body. The origin of the illness unknown to them, the outbreak getting so bad that Shama citizens were no longer allowed to venture into other kingdoms and forced into quarantine until there was a cure for this illness. The long lasting allies, the Arcturus Kingdom, took it upon themselves to research and search for a possible cure for this deadly illness.

Eventually the illness got so bad King Gwondoya was hit with it and no longer fit to rule, leaving Queen Deka in charge while royal scientists of Arcturus continued their research. Queen Deka hoped that this would only be a minor set back, that Neela would still be able to rule in a peaceful kingdom after all this disaster.

Only a few months after King Gwondoya was deemed too ill to rule, Queen Deka had slowly become sick as well but stood her ground as queen. Neela on the other hand was unable to handle the illness for long and was found dead in the hall of her palace in a pool of her own blood. Queen Deka did not want to believe this to be the end and prayed once more, hoping the gods would hear her cries for help and bring her kingdom back to good health.

Neela was only dead for a day before coming back to her kingdom unscathed and completely healthy. It shocked the kingdom, many believing it to be the work of gods and others believed it to be a curse. Neela said The Conductor had brought her back, to give her a second chance at life and to finally save her kingdom and hopefully the world from constant war and uneasiness between kingdoms. When Queen Deka heard of The Conductor she worried her daughter had been tainted by him somehow, but hoped the gods were still on her side somehow.

With her new chance at life, Neela wishes to venture out into the world in search of a cure or someone to aid her dying kingdom. She promises herself she will not rule over her kingdom until she knows for sure she can save all her people and bring them happiness.

Only time will tell what will happen to her in this adventure.
