Artist
Juggling university and a modeling job is hardly easy to do for a young Luka, but they have a lot of passion modeling; some years in the past, Luka's presence online as "Rui" created buzz on the internet, and she's managed to get pretty famous. Somewhere along the lines people started assuming that they are a man.
Finding it too troublesome to clear up, she's just gone along with it. After lonely years in high school, Luka makes her way to university, expecting it to go much the same when she encounters a strange and interesting girl named Mizuki.
What she doesn't expect is to meet Mizuki again... but this time as Rui. And Mizuki recognizing them under that name. Would it be easier to be honest? Yes. But it is also difficult, and they keep up the lie, even as she starts catching feelings for Mizuki.
After a while she decides enough is enough. However, an incident causes their painful past to re-surface...

Luka doesn't express their emotions outwardly very often, especially when she's around new people, so she can pretty hard to read.
She's a bit of a coward, and it gets her into trouble more often than not. It's also the reason why she lies to Mizuki, they feel that Mizuki won't accept the real her.
However, she is not a bad person. What she lacks in confrontation she makes up for in kindness, and she is trying hard to get more assertive.

A cute girl from Luka's class. The two of them first meet there, and then later, Luka meets her in "disguise" as Rui, and both of them end up in kind-of relationships, making everything more complicated.
Luka wants to tell her everything but is terrified of being rejected so they keep up the charade for way too long.

Despite their relationship now, Ema and Luka met under very strange circumstances. They both got stuck in the boonies due to missing the last train.
Ema recognized Luka from their modeling work, and offerecd to be her manager afterwards, but because of their strange first meeting, they've become good friends.

Luka's mother and youngest child of the prestigious Kuon family. Sana ran away from the home after her husband died when Luka was a child. Nobody knows where she went. She used to be a famous musician, but allegedly retired shortly before Luka's birth.
- They prefer to wear dark colors and pants for the most part. Most skirts are too short on her so she rarely wear them; even her uniform skirt had to be custom made. They mostly like to wear blue and purple over other colors.
- She loves to wear jewelry like rings, chokers and earrings, but only outside of school.
- "Rui's" hair is the more natural of the two; they have kind of messy, fluffy hair that needs to be actively brushed down if they want it to be straight. Thus as Rui, they leave their hair as messy as it always is, which is more comfortable.
