Andrew’s Notes (Arcanine/Typhlosion): "Now fully grown, Shiranui is an agile, flexible menace on the battlefield (I swear, his body should not be able to contort that way) and a steadfast and loyal friend. A possessive one, too; a consequence of the dragon typing inherited from his mother. I swear if any of the wild Pokémon we encounter so much as look at me wrong Shiranui is staring them down with a level glare cold enough to split rock. But for all his strength, Shiranui is a kind and playful soul, always more than willing to romp around with myself and the other members of my team and taking to training games like a Buizel to water. Its honestly his best motivator - nothing gets Shiranui's blood pumping like a good, fun game."
Andrew’s Notes (Growlithe/Cyndaquil): “While they don’t burn as hot as his father’s, Shiranui’s flames are still hotter than those of a typical Growlithe or Cyndaquil. I can’t tell if it’s an inheritance from his father or due to the delta dragon type or both, but either way it’s pretty cool.”
