Nekadap [Lore Species]

Since most of my Ocs are Nekadap and there's no info here This will be the guide about it for the ones that are curious.

You are free to make one if you want but there will be no activities about it.

NEKADAP

Nekadaps are one of the species in this word. The others two being Humans and Kemonos (Furries).

They come from another place in space! But had to escape because of meteors.

They were the ones who brought magic/powers and color in this world. Originally Humans and Kemono didn't had magic and were of neutral colors.

Nekadaps had to adapt to this planet and their biomes. 

They also evolved to look more like Kemonos and a bit like Humans, (We don't know how the pre-evolved version looks like for now) going more to the mammalian side.

A way they adapted were their neck appendages. Looking like manes since they where safe in the city and for example: Leaves to camouflage themselves.

The mane is actually fluffy appendages that rest around the neck so these can't be removed. City Nekadaps likes to dye the point of their "mane"

There's different kinds of neck appendages Nekadaps have depending on where they were born.
These can have various colors, sizes, shapes and different designs.

These generally are two on the sides of the neck but sometimes they are 1 or 3 (Yup these bleed if you cut them even if they are looking like crystal or feathers)

There's more like Dessert, Snow, Swamp, Hunted, etc.

A detail! Originally Nekadaps didn't need thumbs. Since they used gravity and magic to do their stuffs.

They evolved and now there's a 50% chance they are born with one and no pads
Nekadaps that are thumbless had to use a magic glove that helps them do regular stuff (These gloves doesn't drain magic and they are really easy to find and make)

The hands can be different depending of the species of the Nekadap(animal). The Design of the gloves can have many designs but this is the default.

Outside Nekadap appendages change depending on where are they living and keeping their color.

Insiders Nekadap appendages does not, not even color.

And Outside Nekadaps appendages does not change to City.

Nekadap are really close to Kemono so they usually look like some animal too

As always every species has mutations. Some Nekadap are born without their appendages and instead has nothing there or just a mark. (rarely some cut them but this is for survival since these are good in protein)

Nekadap have a different kind of ear. These are like a weird thick antennae. 

They can't move them but they react to movement, wind, etc.

These does not have visible holes. And obviously come in different forms. Some to mimic a furry ear by just being flat.

They can't move their "ears" like Kemono can, but like some humans can move their ears some Nekadap can do it too.

Eyes represent if someone probably have powers, can be Human, Kemono or Nekadap in this world.

Nekadaps can use magic and powers, but is less probable that a Human or a Kemono.

Rarely some Nekadaps does not have powers or can't use magic. 

The "probably doesn't have powers or magic" is a 40%, and 60% that it has powers or/and magic.

As well there's Outsiders and Insiders Nekadaps there been always the rare existence of Golem Nekadaps.

These Golem Nekadaps are made of a specific material and have a core like marble.

This core is only created by Nekadaps that have died, there's no reason why but is a low chance that when this Nekadap dies their rest will become a core for the new life of the golem.
Naturally the golem will not have memories of the deceased person nor powers related to that person.

It will simply become an orb that with time will start to produce its own material out of nowhere to make their base but after finishing will need that material to keep growing, fixing and feeding.
The appearance of the golem Nekadap will be simply of a Nekadap but as default it will be made of the material and will look like a descendant of the deceased person. (A son or a daughter for the rest of the family)

These cores are indeed their heart, the core is filled with powerful magic and in some really rare cases the person with the inactive core will fuse with it, being forced to now be Golem.

The properties of the core rarely works different as their own material since they work with a lot more (making an entire place like an isle, a town, cave with their own life) or a not visible one (like waves or signals).
