Personality

Emberstorm is a lot like a kit; curious, playful and adventurous, traits which haven't gone anywhere as she has grown into an adult. She's very social and seems to get even more energy just by spending time in big groups, enjoying the company. When alone, she often tries to find someone to talk to, even if she doesn't know them that well and tries to change her behavior to better suit the cat she's spending time with. With a little more timmid cats she tries to stay calm and keep her voice soft and gentle, but on the other paw if someone is very bubbly she will answer with the same energy.

Even though she might be a little wild, Emberstorm can be a very patient and calm she-cat, especially when doing her duties as the leader of the clan. Then again, when she's with her friends she has the tendency of regress back into a kit and play around, teasing and joking like an apprentice. It's very unlikely for Emberstorm to get mad, but if someone really gets under her fur, she wont hold back her tongue and says whatever she's feeling at the moment.

Appearance

Emberstorm is a short-backed, solidly build she-cat. She has strong, but a little shorter then average length legs and wide paws, which give her whole body a very square shape. Her face is more of an oval and has very soft features, giving her a kit-like look even when she's an adult. Her eyes also have a roundish shape and she has longer tufts of fur on the end of her ears.

Emberstorm has a mostly dark, tortoiseshell colored pelt, with most of the orange splotches appear on her back and legs, as well as her tail and right ear. The she-cat got her father's thick, bushy pelt, which gave her a big, fluffy mane and -tail. She has white markings on her legs, white toes on three of them and a longer sock on her right back leg. Emberstorm got her grandfather's green eyes, from her father's side of the family.

Riverheart - Close friend/Mate

As the cat who helped her create Groveclan, Riverheart is a very dear friend to Emberstorm. Whenever she feels anxious or doesn't know what to do, she knows she can always get help from the tom, be it advice or a shoulder to rest on when she needs a break from her duties.

History

Emberkit was born second of her litter to Fitchspirit and Dawnpelt, with her older brother Hawkkit and younger sister Caperkit. She was only two moons old when her mother disappeared without a trace, leaving her and her siblings alone with their father. Fortunately Dawnpelt didn't have to raise them alone, since he had help from his other mate, Spiderbounce, who after a while Emberkit started to think of as a second father to her.

As she got her apprentice name Emberpaw, she got Ravenmoon as her mentor. Since Ravenmoon wasn't very interested in mentoring the young she-cat, Emberpaw did mostly stuff in the camp; changing bedding and helping around were it was needed. Ember was an apprentice for only a moon, when Dawnpelt finally found her mother and brought her back to the camp. Only she wasn't alive anymore, as Fitchspirit's former mate Snowshine killed her out of jealousy. Emberpaw didn't mourn her mother for long, as she decided to leave the clan on the morning of her burial, getting her fathers to escort her to the border before she took of, finding her mother's adoptive father Wavetail and his mate Riddle to live with.

Naming herself Emberstorm as she came of age, she left Wavetail and Riddle to go and live on her own, trying to figure out what to do with her life. On her travels she got to meet many different cats, but as she moved around a lot, not many of them stuck with her. Until she met Oliver, an alley cat tom who she found interesting enough to stay with for longer then a few days. Emberstorm lived with Oliver for a couple of moons, until she decided that the twoleg streets weren't the place for her. She tried asking Oliver to join her on her travels, but the tom wasn't interested in changing his way of living either.

So they parted ways, and in a moon Emberstorm found her way to a quiet forest, where she met Blizzard. Telling the tom stories about clan cats, he told her about Mother Nature and the forest of weeping willows around them, which he called the Spirit grove. After a couple of moons of living with him, Emberstorm got the tom to start their own clan together, changing Blizzard's name into Riverheart and gathering cats - kittypets and rogues alike - to join them.

Emberstorm loves to listen to stories, her favorite ones were ones she heard from her mother Fitchspirit, about her travels as a kit far away from her home. In her mother's memory, Emberstorm keeps telling stories to her new clanmates
