Bulwark is a naturally evolved slugcat living in the outskirts of an iterator superstructure. They are a very carefree slugcat, often getting into trouble due to the sheer inability to recognize the seriousness of a situation, when the flee and when to fight. Ironically, they are also very perceptive, often scouting their sorroundings and identifying various creatures and enviroments. Basically they mostly know whats coming for them when they get into trouble, they just don't give a fuck. They are not very smart either and quite young, so if they ever get out of a dangerous situation it will be by pure luck.

Abilities
Protective shell: All attacks made against the back of the slugcat will bounce back, stunning the target for a very brief time and leaving the slugcat unharmed. - Greater pounce: Pounce jumps go a lot farther than a normal slugcat's.
- Bulwark: While inside a pipe or tunnel, the slugcat will reflect attacks from any side, but will suffer a great recoil from this.
Design
Design Notes
The backshell extends out of the body on the sides, covering the body completely when viewed from the back. It even extends all the way to the end of their tail. - The shell is not hard and can in fact fold and get wrinkly, specially when moving.
- Their ears are pretty small compared to other slugcats and are the only thing poking out from their head when viewed from behind.
- Feel free to simplify colors into one big one and not use gradients.

Trivia
They are based on a leatherleaf slug, specifically Beeftongue (if u know u know)- They have more food pips to refill than normal slugcats but also more fat reserves than normal. They can go two cycles without eating if they get enough food but if they starve or are at 0 food pips for long enough, their shell will lose its protective capabilites, leaving the slugcat exposed.
- Centipedes are one of the slugcats biggest weaknesses, mostly because the electrical shock they make can pass through their shell easily.
