Nishio Uesugi is a popular third year honors student in Yasogami High School, and is also a rising star in acting, already landing major roles in TV Dramas. Moving to Okina City at an early age, Nishio often traveled to and from the town due to his acting career. He is sent to live in Inaba after a hospitalization incident, and his manager forced him into hiatus for his own health. Nishio is a people-pleaser with extremely harmful emotional self destructive tendencies, but would rather have the constant praise and approval of people at the cost of his health in juggling the expectations and responsibilities he piles up on himself. It is hinted that Nishio is the nephew of the persona user Hidehiko Uesugi from Persona.

Appearance

Nishio is a tall, fairly toned young man, noted to be alarmingly tall for his age. His skin is tan with reddish undertones, and sports full lips. His reddish brown hair is a messily layered while his eyes are a medium gray. He is regarded by his peers to be exceptionally handsome, to which he humbly disagrees.

Nishio is a very friendly and welcoming young man, known to always have a smile on his face and a very cheerful disposition. It is known that despite being such a famous teen actor, Nishio is actually also known for his humility and groundedness. Nishio is not actually a big dreamer, and takes things as he goes and as they are presented to him. Though Nishio is fairly confident in himself and his own abilities, he has difficulty saying 'No' to plenty of favors and jobs asked of him, which hints that he is affected by how people will see him if he declines any opportunity presented to him.

Story

Early Life

Nishio was born in Mikage-cho, and spent the first few years of his childhood there. Due to the events revolving around the SEBEC incident in 1996, Nishio and his family moved out of Mikage-cho into Okina City near Inaba. In Okina, Nishio lived normally, and on occasion revisited Mikage-cho to see family they left behind after the SEBEC incident died down.

Nishio is first mentioned by girls and boys around Yasogami high school as a popular actor returning to Inaba to continue studying. It has been revealed that Nishio has had numerous hospitalization incidents from fatigue that he was forced to take homeschooling for a few months before returning in his Third Year. Based from what people knew, Nishio had been living in Inaba for three years due to a bad hospitalization incident in his first year of high school.

Nishio's HP/SP ratio is fairly balanced, with both HP and SP greatly increasing each time he levels. However; due to his physical condition, Nishio's defense is very low, making him very vulnerable to critial hits and sustaining high damage despite his high HP.

Trivia

• Nishio drops numerous hints that his uncle was one of the reasons he had become passionate in showbiz. When asked, he mentions that his uncle was a very popular TV Show host in the late 90s to early 2000s, this uncle is heavily speculated to be Hidehiko Uesugi. This is further reinforced with the fact that Nishio was born in Mikage-cho.
• In the same likeness, Nishio was thought to be related to the Dancing All Night character Tamami Uesugi. However, due to his interactions with her and any lack of familiarity, it can be said that their similarity in surnames is a coincidence.
