Despite his prideful attitude and short temper, Mothflare is a decently friendly and chill cat. He isn't one to usually start fights - though he won't hesitate to defend himself, He prefers to make friends rather than enemies, and therefore will sometimes go out of his way to make a good impression on others unless he dislikes them.
He would do anything to protect his two siblings, as they are the only family he has left after being abandoned by his parents.
The moth wings he wears may bring upon weird looks from some, but that doesn't matter to him.
Mothflare isn't quite sure what attracts him to these strange little bugs. Perhaps it is the fact that he shares a name with them. Moth was named for his quiet and steathly nature, often venturing out of the den at night as a kit.
First Face : The World
Mothflare tends to act chill, trying his best to act calm and collected. He doesn't like feeling vulnerable around unfamiliar cats. Acting calm doesn't quite stop his temper from flaring though, and although he doesn't do it as much as before, when he is angry or annoyed he will still lash out.
Second Face: Close ones
His two siblings mean the world to him, and he would do all that he could to protect them. Mothflare doesn't have any really close friends, so Ridgemelody and Alaska are the only two he feels he can truly depend on.
Though he also tries to play a cool role, sometimes he can't help but vent out his frustrations. His loving side is a lot more obvious around them.
Third Face: True Reflection
Mothflare thinks highly of most cats in the Nouveau Flame, and won't tend to show his dislike of others. He usually isn't the type to be afraid of something, but he's scared of going to war with Paraclan. Deep within, he bears no hatred for the clan, even if they are the reason he never got to know his parents. On top of that, he doesn't want to see the cats he knows die before him.

Mothflare is a fluffy grey mackerel tabby with bright green eyes.
Mothflare is a handsome fluffy tom with long, coarse fur. He is slightly bigger than the average cat, standing at about 11 to 12 inches, even though his fur makes him look larger. His ears are long, and slightly rounded at the tip, with tufts of fur along the backside of them. His eyes are slightly narrower. Underneath his fluffy pelt, he has a powerful and muscular build. He often likes to wear polyphemus moth wings in his fur as a cool decoration.

"I- I'm not sure. I guess I could say I'm pretty happy with my life. But ever since Emmett died, I've felt this responsibility that I need to keep my siblings safe. Maybe I just need to relax a bit, but the war with Paraclan won't let me do that."

"I have... personal reasons. Though I will tell you that one of them is because, although as much as the Nouveau Flame may hate Paraclan, I was still originally born there, and it is a part of my heritage."
His larger size and stockier build cause him to be slower and less agile, which can be a decently big disadvantage in battle. His impatience doesn't help, with him rarely taking a long time to plan his strategy. He counters his weaknesses with strength and stealth. Though having a bigger build doesn't help him stealth-wise, he has learned how to perfectly place his paws down as to make the least amount of sound - when he isn't distracted of course. Mothflare is also pretty muscular, adding to his strenth, and can tackle others decently easy. He makes sure to not lose his strength and refuses to become lazy. He isn't too fond of staying still for too long, so he tends to often walk/run through the territory, especially at night.

Chapter Zero: The Beginning

Moth and his siblings have never known their real parents. Born into a litter of four, he was the firstborn of his littermates, but due to one of Paraclan's strict rules, only one kit - the firstborn - could survive, and the rest had to be killed.
Despite this rule, Moth's parents refused to kill his siblings, instead contacting Moth's uncle, Nouveau Flame Captain Emmett, to help sneak them out.
Being named for his quietness and stealthy nature, Moth became his name for the duration of his kithood and pageship. As he got older, he turned from a quiet little kit, developing a fiery personality. During his time as a page he was often seen as whiny and annoying, throwing a fit everytime he failed hunting prey or a training exericise. He also was quick to get into fights with his short temper. When he was named a soldier, something felt off about it. He didn't feel like the name "Moth" fit him anymore. So he decided to change his name to honor his Paraclan heritage, fit his personality more, and for... other reasons. He announced that his name from then on would be Mothflare.

Mothflare has always been closer to his sister, Alaska. He deeply worries about her due to her adventurous and reckless nature. He fears for her safety in the upcoming battle with Paraclan. tba

"Ridge.. my other sibling. I haven't spent as much time around him as I used to when we were kits. Everything's been so hectic lately. At least I don't have to worry as much about him as I do Alaska. "
Ridge isn't the closest to Mothflare, although he still cares about her. He wants to spend more time with his other sibling, but hasn't yet gotten the chance.
"I don't really know Ruse that well, but she seems okay. We had a nice sparring match one time, and that was really the only time I got to actually chat with her. "
Moth has a decent relationship with Ruse. He's only interacted with her a few times, but he has grown to realize that they really aren't that bad, despite how much of a loner they are. Though she is a bit peculiar at times.
"Ughhh, him?? Why doesn't he just leave? He clearly doesn't care about anything. And he just gets under my skin! I don't know how anyone could be friends with this jerk."
Despite how friendly or social Lucan may be, Mothflare absolutely despises him. It has little to do with the fact that he is Alaska's ex, Moth just does not like him. Maybe it's the way he has little attachment to anything, or that their personalities just naturally clash.
Cousin
Moth was never really THAT close with Bennett, but they were decent friends. Mothflare wants to get to know his only other remaining family than his siblings, especially since both of them used to be close to Emmett.
