Rain is a quiet and gentle lad that is a bit more introverted when compared to their sibling. Well at least until you get to know them. The young Sliggoo is mature for their age and carries a deep understanding when it comes to the nature of mind and how trauma affects it. Rain is the type of person who tries their best to be reliable and helpful in whatever way they can. In their eyes, they feel it makes up for the fact tha they aren't much of a fighter. Rain is a very caring person that gets along with anyone who shows them a single ounce of kindness. Her consideration is shown through how cautious they can be when speaking to others. With the evolution into a Sliggoo, the nervous energy they used to carry has melted into a melancholic attitude that almost gives them a lax and nature. This lets their intuitive nature to shine through more even if leads to them to not really be so emotionally volatile. However, when you know them for a while, you get a idea of how they feel through their speech pattern.
The life of a Goomy isn't the most fun in the world. Being one of the weakest dragon types, it's often a fight for that line to strive. Amusing when you consider the fact that Rain is the son of. Being the son of a Goodra and a Scarfty, fighting was never a essential thing for him. His parents downright refused to let anything happened to him. This lasted until Rain was 7-8 years old when he lost both of his parents to a Weavile. Before he had a chance to even process what happened to them, a portal opened up underneath Rain and dragging him into another world. Upon landing on the opposite side, he found himself alone. He desperately move across the land in search of his parents, carrying some hope they were alive. However, he ended up getting attacked by monsters. Just as he was about to die, a teen Drake appear before the Goomy and slayed the monsters with one swoop. Rain followed the Drake desperate to cling to someone who had a understanding of this world and lean to after finally accepting they were no longer there. The drake was hesitate on accepting this Goomy. However, the teen would take in as his adopted sister. It has been years since that event and since then, Rain has been traveling the world with their sibling and his crew he travels with in hopes of helping those he meet and steal from the rich. Sadly, Rain did end up getting kidnapped and taken to Tombstone City. Luckily, thanks to a party, they would find themselves free and join them. Though witnessing the horrors of what Vivianne done, Rain would evolve into a Sliggoo and gain the determination to see the demise of that horrible woman.
- Rain was never intended to be a character. However, I decided to make them to try to connect them with a special group of characters that will be introduced later.
- Did I solely give them the last name "of the Rivers" as a nod to my partner's character? Yes.
- If you must know, yes....Rain name came from my partner's character being named "River" and the fact Sliggoo evolves under that weather.
- Rain is meant to serve as the "Morgana" of the party group with the knowledge beign centered around things pertaining to the mind.
- I made Rain follow the Hisuian line due to wanting to follow the snail theme with one of his friends [Aoi].
