Furthermore Illai sees something special in any person on the world. Nobody is boring or irrelevant. Everybody can be a hero on their own!
Story
Nobody really knows Illai's true origin. Gemdolls are born by being awakened at a water lilly lake and don't have parents or a "childhood", since they are born as adult and don't grow up. The pink haired boy uses the unknown gap in his history to his advantage to fill it with the most incredible fantasies. He tells one Gemdoll that he safed an entire village in his first week of living and tells another person how he was reborn and chosen by the god for defeating the evil itself.
It's difficult to sort the truth in his stories, but all of them have something in common - Illai wants to do good for the world and searches for a sense in his awakening.
His Ability
› Shadow Slayer
Illai didn't have any magic or special abilities for most of his life. On the last adventure he went on, he was gifted a powerful sword, Shadow Slayer. Only when he is on the edge of death, Illai's eyes, gem, and right arm turn golden and the sword appears out of the mist rings on his arm. In this state, Illai seems to be unconscious and like the sword is leading him into the fight.

Relationships
They met on a treasure hunt and fell in love on the way. Kooneho is one of the few people who can read Illai's true thoughts and feelings.
Gilbert is the reasonable part of their friendship. While Illai is all over the place, Gilbert takes care of everything important.
