F-ZERO: Falcon Densetsu
Isa came to Mute City after an incident with Zoda - in which he had made an attempt at kidnapping her for her talents, but through tough luck and struggle she escaped his claws. Yet, not without a few of her blueprints stolen.
Lucky as it may be, Isa felt unsafe and feared being caught again and as such, she hired a bodyguard to keep an eye out 24/7. A big guy named Slimetime responded to the call. Slimetime - who had recently dismissed his previous job at a repair garage after a hefty disagreement with his coworkers - was eager to take on the responsibility. The pay was good, and he'd have a roof over his head for free for a few months.

Isa barely went outside for a while. It was during this time that the two got to know each other better. Slimetime's humor and cheekiness eased Isa's worries. Their mutual love for F-ZERO really sparked through; watching grand prix races on TV, chattering about their favourite participants and machines, as well as the technical side of things. After all, Isa was a blueprint artist, and Slimetime a mechanic.

Slimetime helped find back her strength and confidence. Their friendship grows naturally and with a promise of building their own machine together, Slimetime becomes a close companion. Though no longer a paid guard, he made it his personal duty to keep the woman safe.

Now with a new friend and goal, Isa picked up her freelance job as an F-Zero machine designer once again but felt a bit overwhelmed with the idea of now not only carrying her own dream of becoming a racer with her own machine - but Slimetime’s as well. One day, as Isa had an internal struggle in the local park, Super Arrow found her and felt it his duty to help this petite citizen blow off the load she carried with her. The self proclaimed super hero took on the role of a listening ear and the two had an emotional conversation in which Isa shed some tears and vented her worries, and after all that was out of her system, Super Arrow invited her to one of his favourite cafes for a warm beverage to relax after a rough day. Isa accepted and as such, that day she came to visit the Falcon House for the first time.

After that initial visit Isa could regularly be found at the Falcon House, finding the diner a pleasant go-to to work on her designs with a nice cup of tea. Often with books and magazines scattered about her table, pondering and studying the machinery. The Falcon House inspired her. The master of the House, Bart Lemming, was kind and welcoming, and perhaps a tad bit curious, as he could be seen peeking at her work rather frequently, despite her initial disapproval of it. Eventually she’d give into him taking glimpses, and he would sometimes even help her decide between engines - or praise her for her knowledge. Isa revealed that her passion for F-Zero came forth through her admiration for Captain Falcon; seeing how skillful he drove - and how bold yet graceful it looked sparked something within her. She also bashfully mentioned she found the Blue Falcon look cute. Just talking about it lit up her soul, he noticed so. It was easy to talk to Bart, especially because he shared the passion for the racer; apparent in the whole theme of his cafe. Isa shared her dream of one day building her own machine and entering the F-Zero - perhaps even rival her hero - or in the least, the thought that he might notice her as a fellow racer. That idea alone was enough to satisfy her.

At some point, Bart offered Isa a job at the Falcon House - as a means to fund a bit extra towards her dream (sometimes deliberately adding more to her payout than she had officially worked.)
Relationships
Slimetime | Closely knit room mates & racing partners.

After Isa recovered enough from her fear of being caught by Dark Million again, Slimetime stuck around as a newfound friend. To be honest, Isa technically never dismissed him from the job, so he keeps protecting her. Or so, that is the excuse he uses jokingly. “As a friend now, of course. Don’t pay me. Well - don’t pay me with money, but I do like your food…” He told her with a wink.

Slimetime and Isa work together to fund and make true their promise of becoming official F-Zero racers. During those races, Slimetime takes on the form of Isa’s safety helmet, and aids in the navigation of their surroundings.

Bart Lemming | Boss...with a spark lit between the two..?

Bart’s natural ability to make people feel welcome and safe worked its charm on Isa just as well. After a few months since Isa’s first visit at the Falcon House, he offered for her to come work for him so that she could earn a little extra for the creation of her machine. She gladly took it. During her time working at the diner the two had many interactions - both in the form of conversation, or meaningful gazes, with and without customers around. Nothing much needed to be said to understand one another. Isa felt comfort in the old man. Her heart warm from being around him. Their relationship is a slow burn, and even though Bart knows (and feels) more than he lets on, neither confess for a long time. (wip?)

Clank Hughes | A little friend (son vibes)

Suddenly this young child comes into the Falcon House, without a home, without a family. For some reason Bart decides to let him live there. A few other regulars know the boy. Clank certainly is a surprise, but soon becomes a pleasant one at that. The place becomes livelier, and Isa and Clank seem to get along very well. The two share lots of laughter and giddy, and Clank’s knowledge is often appreciated. He finds rare parts online in a jiffy and equally as fast gets them ordered and delivered for her. Of course, disagreements and misunderstandings happen, and the tantrum of a child tends to be frustrating as well… Yet, as Clank becomes a permanent part of the Falcon House, Isa feels fond of the boy, and somewhere in her mind, the three of them begin to feel like a tiny little family.

Roger Buster | Cousin

Isa’s childhood started rather roughly - with parents that could not afford to take care of a child, she ended up at her uncle and aunt’s at a fairly young age instead. They had a son, several years older than her, named Roger. They often hung out together - he often pestered her - but it was not bad. As adults it was something to look back on with nostalgia, though Roger and Isa didn’t often see each other with their respectful jobs and separate lives now.

Only after Isa became employed at the Falcon House did she meet Roger again after years. Certainly a surprise at first - but he worked as a delivery service now, and Bart often ordered items from far away for him to bring over. Roger hadn’t changed a bit. He still liked to tease Isa - especially nudging between her and Bart. She’d get flustered at times, or simply shoved the man out of the place. It was all light hearted, and their bond had never wavered. Honestly, if anything, Isa was always happy to see Roger when he visited (but no way in hell she’d ever tell him), and their bickering made Bart chuckle. Roger was more of a brother than a cousin, really.

Super Arrow | Close friends

Super Arrow introduced Isa to Bart, and all his fellow F-Zero colleagues that often visited the Falcon House. She’d met the hero by chance, during a low. Super Arrow made her laugh, and feel lighthearted. She found him kind and relatable, and the feeling was mutual. Super Arrow would easily call anybody that put up with him his best friend - something that often startled people, but Isa found his oddness charming. This man lived in his own little bubble, he was inspiring, to her.
