- After the death of his mother, Calvin has taken half of the responablity of raisng his younger brother, Andrew
- As a kid, Calvin didn't talk much. He was outwardly shy, didn't do well on tests or schoolwork, but was very good at sports and stuff
- got into college of a scholarship from baseball or smth
- Calvin believes everything his younger brother tells him (a poor choice)

Andrew - Calvin takes care of Andrew. Seeing as Calvin basically raised the little guy, they are very close
Toby - Toby and Calvin dont usually go out of their way to talk to each other, between Calvin being awkward as hell and Toby being shy they dont make converstation easy. But on the rare occasion they do, they usually find they have a lot in common!
Heather - Heather and Cavlin both share a love for beling outdoors and taking care of kids, so they bond over that! They're pretty close and Heather usually has to help Calvins clumsy ass when he messes up
