At first glance Hachiman seems to be rather cold and indifferent but he is in fact the complete opposite after talking to him for only a few moments he will bluntly state to you exactly how he feels and what he thinks regardless of the harm it may cause you or others. Hachiman has a strong sense of justice and will not twist his morals for the sake of another.
For a time Hachiman had a blind loyalty to the Demon Slayer corps which is why he completetd missions without a second thought, he was their loyal little war machine right up until he wasn't.
Hachiman was a special child granted life by the gods themselves. He is a seer and the forefather of stone breathing for he wields earth breathing an insanely powerful and destructive primitive breath. The power which he wields is god like but with the missuse of such a power comes a punishment. Hachiman is blinded for his crimes.
Hachiman is one of three childeren born across Japan who were destined to defeat the demon king. The origin of Hachimans seer abiity is unknown to him but well documented in his real family. The family in which Hachiman was born to promised him to the Demon Slayer corps in exchange for protection. Hachimans mother hated the idea and ran off at eight months pregnant. A cult with skewed beliefs took her in, she died giving birth to Hachiman.The cult, belieing Hachiman was their savior put him through a rigorous training regime 'he'll protect us!' they thought.. oh how wrong they were. The corps tracked down the cult after months of searching and slaughtered the only family little Hachiman had ever known right in front of him. He grew to believe the Corps saved him, they became his family and began training him to destroy the demon king at the age of ten.
