Apollyon is rather chill, mostly hanging out in botany growing plants and making weird drink or food combinations from the plants themselves. He does have a short fuse and can get angered and upset quickly if you push the right buttons. You will often find him high off his ass, medical usually cannot treat him because his system is so full of THC. Otherwise, he is very caring and friendly, happy to teach botany to new employees or people who just have a general interest in it.
backstory
Born on an unknown planet in an unknown sector, highly likely they are the physical manifestation of Baphomet himself. Raised alongside their sibling, Inx Phaedra, possibly with more siblings that are unknown. Started to work for NanoTrasen in 2051 at age 23. Met and married his wife, Lilith Baphomet, shortly after getting hired at NanoTrasen. Became an unknowing member of the Syndicate almost immediately after marrying Lilith as she was secretly a Syndicate Operative who used Syndicate mindhacking tools to control him. Assumed the Syndicate alias of Snakeroot, a Phytotoxicologist. After many instances of him and their wife destroying station after station, he learned his wife was a member of the Syndicate who was shortly executed afterwards by NanoTrasen security officer, Echo Five. His memories were whiped and he was moved to a new sector.
Due to the memory wipe, for a while he believed he was Apollyon, the destroying angel of the abyss [and will still make references to this even after having his memories restored]. On a strange shift on the NSS Manta, he was confronted by Echo Five, forcing him to remember the day his wife was murdered. Not long after, he met Alexander Drake, fell madly in love with him and married him once Alexander's terminal illness was cared for.

A meeting fated by the stars and great beyond, these two are now attached to each others hips. You are not likely to see one without the other. Meeting one day while Apollyon was harassing his ex-partner in genetics, Apollyon quickly took to Alexander, the both of them falling head over heels in love rather quickly. Apollyon spent millions of dollars to find a way to stop Alexander's illness, the both of them married not long after Alexander's genetic degradation was stopped. They now live happily together with their silly botanical pets in Apollyon's apartment.
Apollyon met Ted shortly after he started working at NanoTrasen, right after he met and married his ex-wife Lilith. The two always joked that Ted was their adopted son and after Lilth's death, Apollyon decided to actually adopt Ted, despite Ted only being a few years younger than Apollyon. The two trust each other to no end and will seek each other out for advice. Previous nicknames for Ted include Bunger and Bungie.
Meeting in botany, the two became quick friends. They work together well and once Fern started dating Ted, she started to see Apollyon as a father figure, which he did not reject. Apollyon will always be there for Fern and loves her like a friend and daguther now. He enjoys Fern's company, despite the weird rocky bit they experienced during their friendship, the two are still very close and Apollyon is happy to have her in his life.
These two have a bromance like no other. They'd die for each other, two peas in a pod. They have each others backs and have loads of fun together, like making the most insane floor pills imaginable or drinking themselves to death. Of course, after meeting Alexander, Apollyon promised to stop these crazy habits with Conway, but these two are still incredibly good friends who have their own fun. Wether it be feeding monkeys to the singulo or making some wild mechanical setup, they're bound to be having a good time.
Two guys who can shoot the shit, Apollyon and Maverick have a pretty sturdy friendship. They work well together, when Maverick is a bartender and Apollyon is in his home of botany, the two make incredible drinks to get the station drunker than you could imagine. Maverick MIGHT have influenced Apollyon's old insane drinking habits, it's been more than one time where Apollyon strapped himself to a chair in the bar and downed every possible drink that Maverick handed to him, surprisingly, he did not die from any of these events.
Bullies to each other, Apollyon does care for Nicholas as he is Alexander's brother. Otherwise, they're pretty mutual to each other, Nicholas hasn't ever really approved of Apollyon being Alexander's partner, but he accepts it as he knows how happy Alexander is with Apollyon. Apollyon will always have Nicholas' back, even if Nicholas doesn't really need the support.
