Known as Basil. Basil himself is actually an entity, the office he works is his own manifestation. (Much like how Tsundoku creates his library and shrine abode.)

Basil can’t handle he is also an entity since his job has been to help the government remove and contain these entities which are dangerous and have attempted to kill/ have killed people. He maps out and identifies the whereabouts of them and he goes out himself to assess the situation and take control of it. The government is aware that Basil is an entity which means he is under surveillance most of the time.

His earrings keep his other forms at bay keeping him to be more humanoid and less prone to corruption. They are two types of talismans to keep peace and stability. 

As of now, Basil is entity to be passive. He isn’t an active threat to any humans. He disowns his “entity” status and prefers to be known as strictly Basil or Detective Basil.

Headcanons and abilities:

• Extreme intelligence and creative thinking. He can make predictions that are almost always accurate as well. 
• He is a fast learner however he can burn out very quickly if he takes on too much at once. Which makes him forget very simple things..
• He takes his job very seriously and not much can stray him away from the cases he works on, maybe sometimes Torment though…
• He has always got a thought in his head that he isn’t good enough, that maybe he shouldn’t be doing all of these cases. 
• He likes cooking but once he gets home he is too tired, he is almost always at work.
• Basil is an expert at masking his true intentions, and often presents a more relaxed or laid-back demeanor than he really feels.  
  
• Basil's extreme intelligence and creative thinking make him an invaluable member of the Paranormal Department, and his ability to make accurate predictions have helped to prevent tragedy on numerous occasions.
