Cori is chaotic and energetic. Having little socializing experience they can be overwhelmingly enthusiastic even about the smallest things. They like meeting new drones and will chat their heads off if given the chance. Otherwise, they'll just devour them.
They were separated from their squad early on. Now they normally scavenge the wastelands for either scraps or unsuspecting bystanders. Their acidic spit makes them seem unapproachable to both worker and disassembly drones which often leaves Cori feeling like an outcast. Nonetheless, they’ve learned to embrace this and will get in people's faces whether they like it or not.

- Tongue and teeth are coated with acid. Their spit can heal themselves but not others.
- Immune to acid but can still be damaged by blunt force or by the sun (overheats).
- Is no longer connected to JC Jenson HQ and doesn't recieve orders from them. Also lacks communication with other disassembly drones.
- Eats both worker and disassembly drones.
- Somewhat defective. Certain functions can glitch out and their vision is corrupted. Cori has a hard time differentiating people or objects.
- Can be extremely curious, but bites/scratches to learn.
- Scavenges wastelands for scraps. Likes to keep them as souvenirs sometimes.
- "Dog collar" replaces the typical headband on disassembly drones.
- Fore arms and chest contain acid.
- "Ears" are emotive
- Patches include a crossbone and the word "corrosive"
- When online, all red parts turn yellow.
Cori was part of the first batch of Disassembly Drones made to attack with acid to get the job done quicker. These acid drones were typically more aggressive and chaotic than regular DDs. However, this became more of a nuisance since their acid would destroy their pods before they could arrive on the planet.
After many close calls, Cori was among the few to make it onto Copper 9 along with the rest of his squad. Nonetheless, he was still an inconvenience for the others because of his sporadic fighting style. About a month later after their landing, Cori's model was discontinued and he was automatically set to offline mode. The others noticed this and realized he was no longer a part of JC Jenson and saw it as an opportunity to get rid of him.
Completely unaware of their plans, Cori tried getting help from his colleagues to be turned online again. It was at this time that the others chipped Cori with a virus, causing Cori’s systems to go haywire. Fortunately, Cori’s solver was able to fight against the virus but this threw him into a blind frenzy. The 2 other DDs found themselves having to fend off the violent acid drone that was trying to eat them. Luckily for them, they managed to escape.
The effects eventually wore off and Cori woke up from being unconscious, unable to clearly recollect the DDs' betrayal. Assuming he was chipped because of his violent outburst, Cori decided to continue on his own. Though the DDs were unable to successfully chip him, some parts of his system remained permanently damaged and prone to glitching out such as his vision. Because of this Cori resorted to blindly attacking other drones to feed himself (worker and disassembly drones alike).
The more Cori wandered the wastelands alone the lonelier he became since both DDs and WDs rejected him. He played with his food just to have someone to talk to, but it would always end the same way with him devouring them. It was until Cori ran into Stat on one of her scouting trips that this cycle ended. With help from the sun, Cori was cornered into the shadows, and a curious Stat was able to start an unusual friendship with him.
Cori now resides in Stat’s workshop, leaving for most of the day to hunt or scavenge parts for her to experiment with. Because of this he's had the opportunity to meet other drones while learning to repress his violent urges.
Dating. Cori likes following her around and bringing her scraps from the wastelands for her to tinker with. They’re unusually calmer around Stat, but will still get up to mischief to stress her out as a treat. In return, Cori lets Stat perform her “totally safe” experiments on them for fun. These two are a danger to one another but they don't let this discourage them.
Dating. Met her through Stat, and was initially only attached to her for her oil. Over time they earned each other’s trust and Cori grew really fond of her presence. Cori likes to rough house with her and bite out of affection since she's one of the few that can actually handle it. These two make for a destructive duo and will feed off of each other’s energy.
