Etteraz (Etteraz Steel Clank)

Etteraz was raised in a loving and caring family, surprisingly. 2 parents, youngest 3 siblings and 1 Grandparent. There isn't really a whole lot to say about them, I guess it's important to note Etteraz is technically adopted. Then, one day Papa came back with a small little human baby. Etteraz was only 2 (which is about 5 years old in Kenku) and was extremely curious about the little baby. Found it's small featherless body strange, the little sounds it made very frightening and loud. The little bundle of joy was named "Bark", as in the literal sound of a bark. But Etteraz would call them by "Whine" as in the literal whining sounds they'd make. Etteraz was always close to Bark, concerned for their safety, always making sure they're fed and warm. Thinking it was so strange they grew so slowly. Around 8 years later, Etteraz and Bark were playing around the steep cliffs, a loveable spot for the family as it was the closest to their biggest dream; flight and it's high heights. It was fun to run along the edge and feel the wind whip around your face and behold the majesty of the cliffs. Yet, it was their unlucky day. The two began to play fight, wrestling in the rocks and dirt, shouting and shrieking from how they tackled each other. Unfortunately for them, a hunting group were passing by and heard their screams, mistaking it for fear and fight. They rushed in to see Etteraz holding Bark into a headlock and assumed the worst. Etteraz was tackled and muzzled as Bark was swept up with loving arms and carried back into town. Etteraz was carried around like some wild animal and poor Bark couldn't speak human words to explain their familial bond. For a while. Etteraz was in dark cages and silent cells, only hearing the world outside them. They wouldn't let this stop them, clawing at the locks and banging against the walls when they can. Making many attempts to break out, learning more and more how to swipe things out of their pockets, stealing keys and small trinkets. Their captors getting fed up with this behavior, finally dropping them off in the middle of the desert, finding them more annoying to have around than not. Etteraz had to find a way to adapt, with only a small dagger, a necklace and tiny gold dog statue.

Having stumbled their way into the mountains, Etteraz tried to find rest in the deepest caves, waiting for peace to wash over them. It never came. Eventually they wandered to the forests, stumbling into a house, drinking themselves silly, just to hope something will put them to sleep.
