Calm & Collected: Despite her short temper, Embla is actually able to maintain her posture and hold back from lashing out at others – so it's not very common to see her raising her voice with someone. This may pass the impression that she is quite a patient wolf, whilst her inside is actually raging. She does not bottle up her feelings, though, and she will usually vent them to her brother or do something physical to relieve her stress – a stroll or a hunt, for example.

Ambitious & Daring: Given her upbringing, Embla was always expected to be the best at anything she did. The high expectations her mother had led Embla to push her limits. Her mind was so fixated growing up as her pack's heiress that she would do anything in order to ascend and take her place. Embla will not settle for less than what she believes she deserves, and anyone who dares stay in her way will pay the price.

Charming: Embla always pays extra attention to her appearance and she knows how to use looks in her favor to get what she wants. She will also sweet talk if necessary, but sometimes actions speak louder than words.

Independent: Once upon a time, someone wanted to decide what was best for Embla, and look where it got them. Embla feels her life turned upside down because she allowed someone else to make decisions for her. She has since decided she will take the reigns of her life. While she does rely a lot on her brother, she is self-suficient.

Blunt: Embla is not afraid to speak her mind, which can make her sound unkind and indifferent at times. While she is entirely capable of measuring her words and be polite, her treatment towards another depends on what she receives back.

Opportunistic & Manipulative: Be a free meal, a source of information or a protector, Embla will seize any opportunities she sees fit. She will not humiliate herself to beg for something, but she does not have to – sometimes all it takes is a little convincing. She can turn almost anything into a business – a deal. That is not to say she will always keep her promises, because Embla is the kind to do anything to fulfill her own ambitions.

Proud & Arrogant: Born into the nobility always made her think she was special and therefore had to be treated as such. After losing her position as alpha, she was certainly left with a hurt ego and perhaps it led her to be a little more compliant. She was forced to admit her defeat – for now – and she would be expected to act more humble if she was to stay in a pack.

Distrustful: Embla does not trust anyone easily, and she'll always keep a vigilant eye for signs of deceit. Embla will not turn her back on those who may scheme against her, instead, she will keep them close, denying them the opportunity to rebel against her.

Embla was born to Morgana, the alphess of a pack called Onyr, along with two brothers. They grew up without knowing who their father was, and their mother never once spoke of him. To Embla, they had no father and she would never acknowledge someone claiming to be him.

As the only female in the litter, Embla was raised to be the next ruler and she aspired to be just like her mother. Morgana was a role model to young Embla, and she would gladly follow and do whatever her mother said, for the pack's best interest. Due to her mother's influence, the young pup had always sounded more mature for her age – in spite of her arrogance. From an early age, she would be educated on the pack's culture, origins, their religion and how to lead.

When the three pups turned into juveniles, her mother revealed her feelings for another female. This was not taken well by Kingsley, and from this moment on, their family started to shatter apart. Alon sided with their mother, and Embla was left in the middle of it all. She eventually tried to soothe things with Alon, but it backfired and damaged their relationship even further. Embla loved and respected her mother, but Kingsley was just as important and she did not want to leave him alone. Alon couldn't understand that Embla was trying her best to keep their family together in her own way. She knew Kingsley was stubborn, but he listened to her. Perhaps it could take some time, but she wanted to bring them back together. But no. After her discussion with Alon, she gave that up. Alon was dead to her. And when he mysteriously left the pack along with his mate and five of their six pups, it only proved to her she could not put her trust even on her own kin.

She started to see she could only rely on Kingsley, and with time, their relationship deepened further. Perhaps to a point beyond what would be permitted. Despite the questionable morality of their intimate relationship, it did not stop them from taking a step further. However, shortly after their love started to blossom, Morgana announced she was preparing an arranged marriage to Embla. It did not came as a surprise to her, seeing as Alon was also betrothed for the sake of the pack. Embla was not particularly against the marriage – though she knew it would upset her brother – because to her, it did not mean she would stop seeing King. She would find a way to go through this, even if it needed to be through lies and deceit. However, the arrangement dissolved before it could even be consummated, when her betrothed left without a word. After this incident, her mother never tried to settle her with another candidate.

As time passed, tension started to grow between Embla and her mother. While she still respected Morgana, both seemed to have certain reservations against one another. That was until Embla discovered what her mother had been scheming behind her back. Embla went to her brother, briefing him with what she had overheard – Morgana was expecting pups, and she hoped one of them would be the new heir. The golden daughter was in disbelief. Together with Kingsley and Nyssa, her appointed personal guardian, they would put a stop to all of this.

When the new litter was born, Embla was more than convinced none of them could ever replace her. Four siblings, only one female – named Raine. She was to be the true rival, but she was born with a birth defect – missing a leg. One of the other siblings, Henry, was blind. They were not worthy, and they would soon have what they deserved.

One day, Nyssa lured Morgana to their sacred place, where Embla awaited. Mother and daughter fought a deadly battle and Embla emerged victorious, claiming the throne as hers. In the meantime, her brother King took their young siblings north of the territory and attempted to drown them in the river. His plan did not go exactly as planned and he only managed to push half of the pups – Raine and Henry – into the water before he was found and thrown into the river himself by a guardian, Ivar. He took the other two pups back to Embla, unaware the conspiracy was started by none other than her. She was certainly not thrilled to see them alive, but she was furious when Ivar confessed having killed Kingsley. She sentenced him to death, yet spared the pups, only because Nyssa pleaded. Once this was settled, she rushed north, desperately searching for her brother. Embla found him laying by the riverbank, feeling a mix of anger and sadness taking over her, until she realized he wasn't dead.

They did it. She did it. Embla was alpha. When she announced her rise, she hid her involvement in her mother's and siblings' deaths. She claimed her mother died after a bear attack, as a result for angering their god, Rehgan, and her siblings had been killed by Ivar. It seemed most of the pack had believed, and those who had not were banished. Those who dared defy her were not worthy of her pack.

Her tyranny ended when her two half-brothers – Malik and Melchior – decided to overthrow her, after their discovery that Raine was still alive. They had kept quiet, but after Raine went back to the pack, the truth was uncovered – Embla was a liar. Without the pack on her side, King and Embla were at a disadvantage. However, Embla would not give up without a fight. But perhaps god was not on their side. Embla tasted her own poison as she was defeated and banished from the pack.
