Adder is a tall, muscular bug - altough she's short by centipede standards - that towers over most people when standing up. Her face is a dark brown, with dark red antennae, and she has two forcipules on her neck. Her body has alternating bands of black and gold.
Adder is a lone wolf and prefers to avoid people that aren't her partners. She has a distaste for most of Hallownestians' laid back lifestyle and is always on the lookout for something to do.
She gets annoyed pretty quickly in back-and-forth conversations, so she enjoys listening to her partners' rambles. Despite her apparent tough exterior, she's a sweet, caring woman... She just needs to feel safe enough to be vulnerable.
Adder was born in a kingdom far away from Hallownest, where she grew with her parents and siblings. Her family was a loving but fairly close minded one.
After reaching adulthood she felt more and more uncomfortable with her parents' views and used the excuse of wanting to become independent to travel. She would never stay in one kingdom for too long, working as a bounty hunter wherever she went.
She started to get tired of her itinerant lifestyle and decided to look for a kingdom where she could rest - and she found Hallownest to be perfect.
