Moray Li

A technician whose vessel-craft is second to none, notorious for his work with curses. Moray (born Moray Ortega Li Ga-ram) may come off as cold and meticulous on the job, but most of his colleagues are surprised by his easy, affable attitude once off the clock - fond of quieter activities such as building bottleships or fishing.

Arriving in Tianxia as a refugee with his younger sister, Moray started a new life as a shipwright with Cormorant Bay, later recognized as one of the Eight Chefs. Dedicated but devoid of ambition, he remains compelled to pursue the limits of his craft, driven by a need to undo something in his past. He works often with his colleague Laika - being directly responsible for the other's condition.
