Laika

Laika (born Laika Alexandrovich Belyaev-Lang Le Jue) - Captain of the Sentinel Dawn, one of the Dusk Hall's Eight Chefs, child of two palaces; a man who learned to walk again after losing both his legs. A showy, dangerously confident figure who often acts beneath his station, and is perhaps too casual with his subordinates.

Beneath that cheerful surface lies a fighter whose violent reputation precedes him, earning himself the title "One Man War" in some circles. He's known for being incredibly fond of anything with scales and is seen most often with a colleague of his, Moray Li - with whom he shares a complex relationship.
