Tesla Springshine is here!

In Mobian canon, Tesla's lore is a little complicated and convoluted, as she previously existed as an alternate version of Mana in a world known as Nova Thorn. In that universe, several events unfolded that ultimately cumulated in that Mana hitting the reset button in an effort to give everyone in that world better lives. By all accounts, that universe and all of its inhabitants, including that AU Mana, should be gone.

However, said AU Mana was really different for a Mana. She had lightning magic instead of creation magic, she was hot-headed and foul-mouthed, and she was no longer connected to Pink Bunny-- a plushie that Mana always has, no matter what universe. It got to the point that, hey, maybe she was no longer a Mana, but some other person instead.

As a result, the universe decided to take the essence of that person, along with her beloved (who, previously, had been an AU Whip that developed his own unique distinctions from classic Whips), and birth her into a different universe as her own person.

And thus, Tesla was born!

(at least, that's the "in-canon" lore; really I just loved AU Mana so much, gave her a nickname of Tesla as per accidental nickname from a friend, that she became her own character for me 8D)
