Zandra

A defender of intergalactic justice, Zandra is bright, peppy, endlessly confident, and never gives up. She comes at her foes with an all-out assault, wasting little energy on tactics or agility. Who needs strategy when you have a pure heart and a punch that could atomize an asteroid?

For a long time, Zandra had her eye on Cordyceps, an infamous heel known for his shrewd tactics and fearsome rage. She would stand nearby the ring just watching, not offering assistance to either wrestler, then nod and leave when the cat inevitably got the pin. When the time was right, she stepped up into the ring and challenged Cordyceps to a match, which Cordy accepted without hesitation. It wasn't an easy win - Cordy was fast and smart, constantly evading Zandra's swipes and getting her in unexpected holds. But Zandra was strong enough to break free every time and finally stopped her foe in her tracks with the Meteorite Sunder, clinching the win.

It was everything Zandra had dreamed it would be. A difficult match full of chances to test herself and her abilities, to learn and grow stronger, and with Cordyceps by her side, she was certain there was no team in the league who could oppose them. She held her hand out for her to take it, but Cordy only stared deep into her eyes for a long moment and then fled. Crushed, Zandra tried to carry on but her boundless energy flagged at the thought of the rejection. She found herself less and less interested in her matches, making mistakes, and eventually ending up stuck in a sleeper hold at the mercy of a lifelong rival. But in the moment before she tapped, Cordy interrupted the match and saved her, accepted her offer to become teammates, and together they've been an unstoppable force.
