Jasper

Jasper is a Leatherback sea turtle, roughly 22 years old. He’s creative and thinks outside the box, with a fascination for biology and the natural world. The weirder, the better! He can and will infodump about bugs, fish and plants to anyone willing to listen.

The watch-looking thingy they wear is a modified cloaking device, when activated it projects a hologram around their body to change their appearance and let them blend in with humans. His shell is also flat enough that the shape isn’t too visible under clothes (except if they’re wearing the armour shell, of course. That thing is thicc).

He likes to wear all sorts of human clothes in addition to his socks and bracers, but doesn’t often wear the bandana/mask except when he’s on a mission. The tech shell can be worn over most clothes, or under if they’re loose enough (hoodies, baggy t-shirts, etc). Of course, if it’s being worn underneath clothes, he can’t activate the jet thrusters without risking extreme damage to the clothes, shell, or even himself!

• Perpetual eye bags - a prime motivator for them to wear their mask.
• A handful of small, barely noticeable scars: one under the bottom lip, a teeny tiny one on the orbital under his right eye, multiple parallel scars on the top and outer edge of his left foot, and one large scar on his right inner thigh.
• He has broad ‘dorito’ shoulders but thin arms, a narrow waist, and long legs. His general figure can be described as lanky.
• His hands and feet are webbed: the hands up to the first knuckle, still allowing dexterity in the fingers, while his feet are almost entirely webbed. He is a fantastic swimmer and has an instinctual feel for the water movements.
• He has a single, penny-sized birthmark/freckle on the back of his left calf, the same colour as his other freckles but bigger.
