Event One

Isla and Eli first met in Lady Amaranta's office on Eli's first official day as the Twelfth Prime Mage. Isla was assigned to be Eli's personal assistant, someone who would help him navigate the trials and tribulations of his newfound responsibilities. She was also a meant to spy on his every move for Amaranta to see if he could be useful to her or not.

Isla and Eli share a spark when they first touch, though Isla simply brushes it off. Eli proceeds to cause Isla a headache with his unbridled chaos. He not only takes a "detour" to his very first meeting, but he also proceeded to jump in a pond and spend the rest of the day wet and disheveled, much to Isla's shame.

Luckily, Eli cleans up his act and tries to keep up some semblance of a reputations. With minimal hiccups, Eli makes it to his official debut ball and everything goes off without a hitch. Isla and Eli share a dance before she meets his family, she's especially good with his younger siblings, taking them off to dance while Eli socialized. 

Things start to settle down into a regular routine and Eli soon received the title to his new estate.

Event Two

Isla and Eli move into his new estate with a full compliment of staff. Isla is happy to have her own space and is feeling as free as she's ever felt considering her situation. She finds Eli strange but agreeable and she is eager to focus on paperwork and the everyday upkeep of the estate.
Isla goes to greet Eli on their first official day living in the estate and to her surprise, Eli confesses his feelings for her and kisses her. She rebuffs his advances leaving the pair in a very awkward situation. They both practically run away to compose themselves and Isla feels immense guilt for turning him down. She's keenly aware of her hidden agender and thought it would be helpful for her mission, she doesn't want to be used like that. 

Eli is missing for a few hours and Isla grows worried when he's nowhere to be found on the estate. She realises he must have gone out into the nearby forest and she fears the worst given the snowy weather. Her fears are only confirmed when she finds him half frozen to death and completely exhausted. She drags him back to the estate where the rest of the staff take over his care. She eventually goes to see him and they talk about their feelings. Isla warns him that she can't give him what he wants, but he insists he still wants her so Isla precariously agrees to go slow. 

Event Three

Isla has her reservations, but she decides to put her faith in Eli after she reveals the truth about her position as a slave and spy. He accepts her and reaffirms his undying love and devotion to her. She wants to continue going slow but Eli does, in fact, not go slow in the slightest and within a month he convinces her to not only hold a ball to announce their courtship, but it's now turned into an engagement ball. Isla is worried about the reception of their announcement given that Eli is not only a magi, but also the Twelfth Prime Mage and she is just a mundus, nothing. 

The ball starts off fine but quickly descends into chaos after their engagement announcement. The Grand Cardinal of the Creed objects to their union and incites a riot with the magi purists, the Magi Primacy. The couple is only saved by the intervention of Lady Fenril, the First Prime Mage.

Lady Amaranta proceeds to admonish the pair, demanding that Isla be returned to her since she no longer has any interest in letting Eli keep her. Eli invokes the rules of hospitality and Amaranta is forced to leave, but not before she forcefully apprehends Isla's family. 

Isla is devastated that all her fears had come true. 

Event Four

Isla feels completely helpless and decides to take matters into her own hands. She follows a group of witchlights to the Stonehenge, a old Silvyan site imbued with strong elemental power. She meets one of the Silvyan Order representatives who tries to tell her something, but they are interrupted by a group of thugs hired by Lady Amaranta. The Silvyan is killed and Isla is beaten to within an inch of her life before being returned to Amaranta. Amaranta is convinced Eli only has an interest in Isla because there is something special about her and so she gives her to Lord Cygmende, the Fifth Prime Mage, who proceeds to torture her in an effort to reveal any hidden latent powers.

Eli is furious and naturally comes for Isla. He slaughters his way through Cygmende's estate until he confronts Cygmende, who is holding Isla hostage. The confrontation ends with both Cygmende and Isla dead. However, Isla's death only serves to shed her mortal coil and she is resurrected as a being of pure magic, Sil.
